The bogland of the Grunge reeks of iron and rotting peat, and the Iron Lords like it that way. From their fortress halls in the west of Sunno they rule by strength and by fear, sending their Skull Riders out along the roads of Arkanar to raid, to burn, and to bring back whatever, or whoever, is worth taking. Manik, their chieftain, has never lost a raiding season. He does not intend to start now.
The WarpLand Raider Warband is a complete skirmish force for use with the WarpLand tabletop RPG, bringing nine resin miniatures to your table: the warlord Manik, Chief of the Skull Riders, two mounted Skull Riders, a warband of five Iron Lords, and a Shaman-Priest to channel the violent blessings of the realm. Together they make a fully playable force straight out of the box.
The Iron Lords are heavy, scarred fighters in layered plate, enforcers and slavers who have spent lifetimes in the Grunge's peat bogs. The Skull Riders are mounted shock cavalry, lean and brutal, carrying the skulls of past victories on their standards. Manik leads them all: a veteran of a hundred raids, armoured and merciless. The Shaman-Priest binds them together with rites older than the War itself.
All nine models are cast to order in high-quality grey resin and supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint to your vision of the Warp-scorched realm. Compatible with 32mm round bases and designed for use with the WarpLand RPG by Gavriel Quiroga. Third-party products may be associated with WarpLand per the publisher's open licence.

Painting Guide: WarpLand Raider Warband
The Iron Lords and Skull Riders suit a palette of rust, dark iron and dried blood — soldiers of a land where colour has been leached out by the Warp.
1. Prime
- Prime black for a grim, shadowed look that suits the Iron Lords' brutal aesthetic.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat iron plate in Leadbelcher or Boltgun Metal; wash heavily with Nuln Oil, then Agrax Earthshade in recesses.
- Drybrush lightly with Ironbreaker to pick out edges and rivets.
3. Trim and Details
- Paint leather straps and pouches in dark brown; highlight with a medium tan.
- Paint skull trophies and bone in Zandri Dust, washed with Seraphim Sepia, highlighted with Ushabti Bone.
4. Weapons
- Basecoat weapons in Boltgun Metal; edge highlight with Runefang Steel for a worn, battle-used look.
- Add dried blood effects to blade edges using thinned Carroburg Crimson mixed with a touch of brown.
5. Weathering
- Stipple orange-brown rust pigment around knee guards, boot plates and armour joints.
- Dab mud effects to legs using Stirland Mud technical paint or a mix of PVA and brown pigment.
6. Bases
- Bogland bases with dark soil, patches of static grass and standing water effects suit the Grunge perfectly; add small skull or bone fragments from a basing kit for character.
