WarpLand Raider Warband – Battle Pack

The WarpLand Raider Warband is a ferocious band of warriors sculpted by Taiga Miniatures, delivered to you as a set of 9 physical resin miniatures, supports already removed and cleaned, ready to assemble and paint. Each figure captures the raw brutality of a raiding warband torn from the edges of a dying world, where survival is carved out with blade, shield, and sheer savage will.

This battle pack contains 9 highly detailed resin miniatures, including heavily armoured berserkers, shield-bearing warriors, and a fearsome mounted champion atop a winged beast. The sculpts range from approximately 30mm to 50mm in scale depending on the model, with the mounted figure standing considerably taller. Every miniature is packed with surface detail, from knotted muscles and tattered furs to battered armour and weapon engravings, giving painters a rich canvas to work across.

The WarpLand Raider Warband is ideal for skirmish wargames, narrative campaigns, or display collections. Figures arrive as physical castings and may require light assembly with plastic glue or super glue before painting. We recommend washing each piece in warm soapy water before priming to ensure paint adhesion.

The following guide is designed to help you achieve a battle-worn, grimdark finish suited to the savage aesthetic of this warband. Work in thin coats and allow each stage to dry fully before moving on.

1. Prime

• Apply a grey or black spray primer evenly across all 9 miniatures
• Allow 30 to 60 minutes drying time before handling

2. Armour Base

• Basecoat armour plates in a dark iron or gunmetal colour such as Leadbelcher or Dark Reaper
• Apply a second thin coat where coverage is uneven, keeping recesses darker

3. Trim and Details

• Pick out leather straps and furs using mid-brown and dark brown tones
• Highlight raised fur strands with a lighter cream or bone colour using a fine detail brush

4. Weapons

• Paint blades with a steel tone and add a thin wash of blue-black ink to push depth into the edge
• Wooden hafts can be painted in a warm brown and drybrushed with a pale tan to lift the grain texture

5. Weathering

• Apply Agrax Earthshade or a similar dark brown wash across the whole model to unify the palette and deepen recesses
• Drybrush armour lightly with Runefang Steel or a similar bright silver to bring out the highest points and simulate wear

6. Bases

• Texture with coarse sand or a ready-made texture paste in a muddy or ashen tone to suit a blasted wasteland setting
