“They came up out of the ash line singing, all nineteen voices matched to the same broken note, and did not stop even when the shooting started.”
Gomorrah Idolaters Battle Force

The Gomorrah Idolaters Battle Force fields the cult's full combined arms in resin. When the Gomorrah Idolaters march in numbers, silence becomes impossible. The Cacophony Ascending bundle assembles the cult's full combined arms: the High Gomorrah Haseki directing the charge, a complete 19-model infantry line holding the centre, Angels tearing into flanks from above, Liberated Slaves flowing around every exposed position, and the Hospital Spinner spreading control across the field. Khadessa Varn and Ozzy Hellbringer provide the elite edge the warband needs to crack fortified lines.

Supplied unpainted.

Seven sets building a complete OPR Grimdark Future standard game force of approximately 500 to 600 points, covering every unit role the Gomorrah Idolaters army list demands.

All sets are supplied as physical resin miniatures, printed and cleaned here with supports removed, ready to assemble and paint. Individual total: £139.00, save £28.00 with the bundle.

Painting Guide: Cacophony Ascending

Painting the Cacophony Ascending warband is best tackled in focused batches — the 19-model infantry line first, then the specialist and character pieces each in their own session.

1. Prime

  • Black primer for the full warband. The 19 infantry benefit from zenithal highlighting — a quick hit of grey from above before you start base coats gives natural shading on free.

2. Infantry Core — Batch Painting

  • Base all 19 armour plates in Sotek Green in one session, wash with Coelia Greenshade, then edge highlight in Temple Guard Blue. Assembly-line the gold trim with Retributor Armour and a pooled Reikland Fleshshade wash.
  • Vary head and helm designs between models using the Build Kit options — small palette differences (helmeted vs bare head skin tones) add character without slowing the batch.

3. Angels Squad

  • The large bat-wing surfaces on the Angels reward smooth drybrushing from dark root to pale tip. Mechanicus Standard Grey base, Dawnstone mid, Administratum Grey at the leading edges.
  • Armour on the Angels matches the infantry core — teal and gold ties the squad visually to the ground force even in flight.

4. Hospital Spinner and Flesh

  • Hospital Spinner's chained prisoner: warm Cadian Fleshtone flesh with Carroburg Crimson pooled in deep shadows. Add subtle bruising around restraints with a thin Druchii Violet glaze.
  • The Spinner's ornate weapon arm suits NMM gold — deep brown shadow, mid gold, bright cream at the apex.

5. Character Accents

  • Khadessa's massive blade: deep Incubi Darkness base, dark steel blend, fine Stormhost Silver edge. The blade is long enough to show a subtle energy-glow glaze in teal from the crossguard outwards.
  • Crystal and gem accents across all characters in Screamer Pink to Fulgrim Pink to white hot-spot, with OSL glow on surrounding surfaces.

6. Bases

  • Unified basing across all seven units reads as a coherent force. Dark ash texture with cracked ground and bone fragments. Apply the same base scheme to Angels even though they are in flight — it grounds the warband visually as one army.
