Sci-fi collectors and wargame hobbyists will find this squad of five pre-assembled physical resin miniatures a striking addition to any grimdark warband. Sculpted by DakkaDakka, the Liberated Slaves are a unit of fierce, agile warriors who have broken free from bondage and now fight with savage purpose. Each figure measures 32mm or 37mm from feet to eyes, seated on a 32mm round base, and arrives with supports already removed and cleaned, ready to assemble and paint straight from the box.

The squad contains five distinct sculpts, each posed in dynamic combat stances. The leader, known as Haseki, stands taller at 37mm and wields a long polearm with a sweeping cloak that trails behind her. The remaining four warriors carry curved blades and hand weapons, their lean forms adorned with minimal armour, bone fragments, and binding wraps that hint at a dark past. Their horned headdresses and feral expressions give the unit a unified yet wild aesthetic that fits perfectly into grimdark sci-fi warbands built around chaos cults, renegade factions, or outcast survivors.

These physical resin miniatures are cast at a high level of detail, capturing flowing cloth, taut muscle, and sharp weapon edges at scale. The pre-assembled construction means you spend less time preparing and more time painting. Whether you field them as a skirmish unit, use them as elite melee fighters, or display them as part of a larger Sci-fi cult collection, these models hold up well under close inspection and on the tabletop alike.

All five models ship together. Bases are included. Some minor cleaning or gap-filling may be needed depending on individual casts.

Painting Guide: Sci-Fi Chaos Cult Female Miniatures - Liberated Slaves Squad

This guide is written for intermediate painters looking to bring out the gritty, feral character of this Sci-fi cult warband. The palette leans into sun-bleached fabric, weathered bronze, and dark dried blood tones.

1. Prime

  • Apply a grey or black primer spray evenly from 20-25cm distance
  • Allow full cure time before painting, at least one hour in a dry environment

2. Armour Base

  • Basecoat any armour plates or bracers with Balthazar Gold or Brass Scorpion
  • Apply a mid-tone bone or off-white to the binding wraps and minimal cloth sections

3. Trim and Details

  • Pick out horns and headdresses with a warm ivory, shaded with a thin brown wash
  • Paint bone fragment accessories in a pale cream, then apply a sepia wash to deepen recesses

4. Weapons

  • Basecoat curved blades in Leadbelcher or similar cold metallic, then edge highlight with Stormhost Silver
  • Apply a thin glaze of watered-down red or brown to blade edges to suggest dried blood

5. Weathering

  • Stipple chipping on armour using a torn blister foam and dark brown paint
  • Apply a thin oil wash of dark brown across the whole model, then selectively remove from raised surfaces with a dry brush

6. Bases

  • Texture paste in dark grey or ash tone works well for a ruined wasteland theme
  • Finish with a matte varnish spray to unify the surface and protect paintwork during play

This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
