The Rangers of the No Man's Land - Complete Posse gathers the whole frontier warband into one set: 12 resin miniatures and twelve scenic bases, sculpted by 42studio and supplied with supports removed and cleaned, ready to assemble and paint.

The law out here is whatever the Sheriff says it is, and he carries his own coffin to prove he means it. Behind him come eight deputies in cowboy hats and gas masks, a nurse who stopped flinching at the sound of a saw a long time ago, a priestess who found her faith somewhere between the rifle scope and the prayer beads, and a preacher who refuses to put his down no matter what the frontier has done to him.

Chosen to work as a complete posse rather than a shelf of singles. You get a leader, a core of eight bodies to hold the line, a marksman, a medic and a morale piece, which covers every role a small skirmish force asks for. The twelve scenic bases tie the whole warband to one battlefield instead of leaving each model on bare plastic.

Cast in high quality resin at roughly 35mm scale, with sharp detail across coats, leather, rope and weathered timber. Suited to grimdark skirmish games, wild west crossovers and narrative campaigns, or to a display shelf. Plastic glue will not bond resin, so use cyanoacrylate superglue.

Painting Guide: Rangers of the No Man's Land - Complete Posse

The palette is dust, worn leather and dull steel, with faith markings picked out to carry the eye. The guide below suits the whole posse.

1. Prime

• Spray a grey primer across all 12 miniatures and the bases, then check the deep folds of the coats and touch up by hand with thinned primer

2. Coats and Cloth

• Block in the long coats with a dusty tan or bone tone, then shade with a thinned brown wash so the folds read from tabletop distance
• Vary the tone slightly between deputies so the unit does not look uniform

3. Leather and Rope

• Paint belts, holsters and lashings in mid brown, then drybrush a lighter sand tone across the raised edges to suggest sun bleaching

4. Metal and Masks

• Basecoat revolvers, rifles and gas mask fittings in dark gunmetal, then edge highlight with silver
• Glaze the mask lenses in a warm amber so the faces read as unsettling rather than blank

5. Weathering

• Stipple a dusty pigment or thinned buff paint around boots and hems, heaviest at ground level and fading upward
• Add a thin rust glaze where metal meets timber

6. Bases

• Drybrush the cracked earth in pale bone over a brown basecoat, then pick out the skulls and cacti to finish

This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
