1. Prime

• Apply a thin, even coat of grey or black primer from a rattle can or airbrush, ensuring full coverage into the deep feather recesses and armour engravings.
• Consider a zenithal highlight of white primer from above to pre-shade the wings and cape before painting begins.

2. Armour Base

• Basecoat the armour plates in a mid-tone steel or dark iron, such as a cool grey-blue metallic, to give the piece a cold, celestial feel.
• Apply a black oil wash or dark shade into all armour grooves and panel lines, letting it pool for depth.

3. Trim and Details

• Pick out the crown, corset lacing, and shoulder trim in a warm gold or aged brass to contrast against the cold armour.
• Use a fine liner brush to edge-highlight the armour plates with a bright silver along raised rims and corner edges.

4. Weapons
