Space Dwarf Trigrav JetBikes tear across the battlefield on roaring tri-thrust grav engines, each rider a stocky, battle-hardened veteran bristling with oversized weaponry and grim determination. This set contains three physical resin miniatures, scaled at 32mm, with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned, arriving ready to assemble and paint. Each rider sits astride a chunky, industrial grav-bike fitted with three engine pods arranged in a forward-swept delta configuration, lending the models a distinctive silhouette unlike anything else on the tabletop.

The sculpts are rich with grimdark detail: ribbed engine housings, bulky armour plates, coiled power cables, and riders clutching heavy rotary weapons or long-barrelled cannons. The faces carry the characteristically broad, weathered features of their warrior culture, with wild hair and beards visible on the unhelmeted variants. A helmeted variant rounds out the squad, visor closed and weapon levelled. Each model is mounted on a flight stand pin, elevating the bike above an oval base to convey speed and aggression mid-charge.

The Space Dwarf Trigrav JetBikes are designed for use in 28mm to 32mm grimdark sci-fi tabletop wargames and integrate naturally into a squat, industrialist force. These models are part of the Super Massive Space Dwarfs catalogue, sculpted specifically for the range by Super Massive Space Dwarfs. The squad of three provides a fast attack or flanking unit with a powerful visual presence on any game board. These models suit collectors and competitive players alike, rewarding careful assembly and detailed paintwork.

Each set includes three bikes with riders and three oval flight bases. Super glue is recommended for assembly. Miniatures are supplied unpainted.

Painting Guide: Space Dwarf Trigrav JetBikes - Sci-Fi Wargaming Miniatures, 32mm

The official studio scheme shown uses industrial yellow armour paired with teal blue flight suits, echoing a heavy engineering aesthetic. The guide below follows that scheme, with notes for alternatives.

1. Prime

  • Apply a grey or white primer spray to all surfaces, ensuring full coverage of the engine pod recesses and underside detail.
  • A zenithal highlight with white over the grey base will help identify raised surfaces before painting begins.

2. Armour Base

  • Base coat all armour panels with a deep yellow, such as Averland Sunset or similar.
  • Apply a second coat of Yriel Yellow or equivalent to the upper surfaces, leaving the recesses darker for natural shading.

3. Trim and Details

  • Pick out ribbed engine housings and cable runs in dark iron or gunmetal grey.
  • Paint the flight suits and rider clothing in a mid teal blue, shaded with a blue-black wash in the folds.

4. Weapons

  • Base coat all weapon bodies in dark steel, then drybrush with a brighter silver to pick out barrel edges and mechanical detail.
  • Add spot colours on power cells or targeting lenses using orange or red for a striking contrast against the yellow armour.

5. Weathering

  • Stipple a sponge dipped in dark brown or black around armour edges to simulate battle damage and chipping.
  • Apply a thin brown or black oil wash over the engine pods and underbelly to suggest exhaust grime and oil staining.

6. Bases

  • Texture the oval base with rocky rubble paste or fine grit, then drybrush in light stone tones to suggest a shattered industrial landscape.
  • Add a spot of tufted grass or verdigris weathering compound around the base rim for contrast.

This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
