The Death-Tithe Collector is a single, imposing resin miniature standing at 32mm scale and built to dominate any warband roster or display shelf. Sculpted by Atlan Forge, this hulking warrior channels the fury of a blood-sworn champion, armoured from boot to pauldron in brutalist plate covered in skulls, chains, devotional markings and the trophies of a hundred slain enemies. Every surface rewards a close look: riveted panels sit alongside exposed musculature, icon-stamped knee guards press against chain-draped tassets, and a massive serrated axe with a churning circular saw blade occupies one gauntleted fist while a heavy spiked bludgeon fills the other.

The figure arrives as a pre-printed physical resin miniature with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned. The kit is modular, with separate head options (a horned helmet, an open-faced respirator mask, and a bare, scarred human head mid-roar) plus alternative backpack and arm options, giving you genuine build choices before a single brushstroke is applied. Everything is supplied unpainted and unassembled, so what you receive is crisp, clean resin ready for a wash and a look over before gluing. The base shown is a plain 32mm round, which is included.

The model rewards a dark, saturated palette built around aged metal, deep reds and bone. The notes below are suggestions based on the sculpt's major surface areas.

1. Prime

• Apply a black spray primer for maximum shadow depth in the recesses, or grey if you prefer a brighter mid-tone starting point for red armour panels.

2. Armour Base

• Basecoat the plate panels in a deep burgundy or dark red. A single thin highlight along upper edges adds immediate definition without overcomplicating the process.
• Leave recesses dark and apply a dark brown or black wash across all armour panels to settle into the etched markings and rivets.

3. Trim and Details

• Pick out raised trim, chains and studs in a tarnished brass or old gold, then shade with a dark brown wash to kill any cartoon brightness.
• Paint skulls and bone trophies in a pale ochre, wash with a sepia tone and drybrush with off-white for a natural aged bone finish.

4. Weapons

• Basecoat the axe blade and bludgeon in a dark iron, then drybrush with a brighter silver selectively on edges and teeth to suggest well-used, chipped metal.
• Add thin glazes of red or rust brown near saw teeth and blade edges to suggest dried battle residue without overpainting the metallics.

5. Weathering

• Sponge chips onto armour panels using a torn blister foam piece loaded with dark metal paint, focusing on knees, elbows and pauldron edges.
• Apply a targeted oil wash or dark enamel pin wash into every recess to sharpen all the engraved iconography and chain links.

6. Bases

• Texture the 32mm round base with fine sand or a commercial paste, paint in dark earth tones and add a few scattered bone fragments or gravel pieces to match the grim theme of the figure.
