Space Orks born and bred for heavy assault, the Boombo Boyz are living proof that the biggest warsuit earns the biggest gun. This squad of five hulking brutes ships as a 33-piece build kit with twelve interchangeable heads, five armoured bodies with leg pairs, and nine hands and weapon options so every model can look distinct within your warband.

Each warrior stands 35mm from boots to brow. Whether hauling a bazooka the size of a transport engine, caving in skulls with a spiked demolition mallet, or letting scarred fists settle the argument, the Boombo Boyz radiate the kind of armoured menace that sends opponents packing before a single shot is fired.

Brutal studded plates stack over a chassis that is half alien physique and half battlefield salvage. Chains, pouches, and crude trophies cover every surface. The weapons range from exhaust-stacked rotary cannons to a bone-gripped maul, all sculpted with the grim mechanical detail that drinks paint and rewards close attention.

Cast in high-quality grey resin and supplied unpainted, the Boombo Boyz are the close-assault specialists your Space Orks warband has been waiting for. With 28 unique parts and full mix-and-match assembly across the kit, no two squads in your collection need ever look the same.

Painting Guide: Boombo Boyz

The Boombo Boyz reward bold colour choices and heavy weathering to capture the battered, battle-hungry look that Space Orks drag into every engagement.

1. Prime

  • Prime in grey or black for rich, shadowed armour tones, or white if you plan a bright accent scheme.

2. Armour Base

  • Base coat armour plates in dark green such as Caliban Green for a classic Space Orks warband look, or scorched black for a more elite, veteran feel.
  • Drybrush edges with a lighter green or cold grey to catch the heavy panel lines and rivets.

3. Trim and Details

  • Paint straps and pouches in dark brown with a leather highlight; pick out crude trophies and bones in aged bone or dirty yellow.
  • Wash the whole model with Agrax Earthshade or a dark brown ink to unify tones and deepen recesses.

4. Weapons

  • Base coat metal weapons in Leadbelcher or Boltgun Metal, then apply a coat of Nuln Oil for depth and shadow.
  • Pick out power coils or heat vents with bright orange or an electric blue glow effect for visual contrast.

5. Weathering

  • Stipple chipped paint effects around armour edges using dark grey then a light bone highlight for a layered battle-worn look.
  • Dab diluted brown wash into lower leg areas and boot soles to suggest campaign mud and grime.

6. Bases

  • Urban rubble or cracked wasteland bases suit the heavy industrial aesthetic; add a spot of orange rust pigment around the feet to tie in the metal weapon tones.
