The Space Orks Battle Pack is the smallest greenskin force worth calling an army: a warlord to lead it, a mob of boyz to hold the middle of the table, and a walker to smash through whatever the boyz cannot. Three units, eight physical resin miniatures, supports already removed and surfaces cleaned, ready to assemble and paint.
Supplied unpainted.
The Great Arma Boss stands 40mm from feet to eyes, wrapped in scavenged plate with a power claw on one arm, a choppa in the other and a grot perched on his back working a gun far too big for it. Behind him comes Blak Orks Mob Two: four armoured boyz at 32mm, one hauling a multi barrel heavy shoota and another dragging a hose fed burna, backed by a gretchin runt with a pistol and a squig that goes wherever the shouting is loudest. The Deff Box Ork Walker finishes the force at 82mm, an eleven part kit of riveted boiler plate, chains and heavy guns, and it ships with five weapon options so you can arm it for close work or for shooting.
Every model here was designed by DakkaDakka, whose ork range runs past forty sculpts, so this pack grows into a full army later without the style ever changing under you.
Built for OPR Grimdark Future and Grimdark Future: Firefight. A hero, a core infantry unit and a walker make a legal small force you can field the day it lands, and the same eight models drop straight into a larger Orc Marauders list as you add to it. They suit any 28mm to 32mm grimdark sci fi ruleset just as happily.
OPR Grimdark Future: approximately 425 points
One way to field the pack as an Orc Marauders force:
- Great Arma Boss as an Ultra Veteran Leader, 75pts. Quality 3+, Defense 4+, two heavy melee weapons, which is what the claw and choppa amount to.
- The boyz as a Specialists unit, 65pts, since two of them carry heavy weapons. As the mob grows they fold into a ten strong Orc Warriors unit at 155pts instead.
- Deff Box Ork Walker as a Melee Walker, 285pts, or a Ranged Walker at 310pts. The kit includes five weapon options, so that choice is yours at assembly.
Points come from the Orc Marauders army list v3.5.3. Unit sizes in Grimdark Future are fixed, so treat this as the core of a force rather than a finished roster, and build the real list on Army Forge.

Orks reward speed over precision. This scheme is built to get eight models table ready in an evening or two, with the warlord and walker taking the extra attention.
1. Prime
- Black spray primer across all eight models. Black keeps the recesses dark on its own, which matters on the walker where there are more panel gaps than flat surface.
- Follow with a light zenithal dusting of grey from directly above to pick out the raised plates before any colour goes on.
2. Ork Skin
- Base all exposed skin with Waaagh! Flesh, then wash the recesses with Biel-Tan Green so the muscle definition reads from a distance.
- Layer back up with Warboss Green, then drybrush Skarsnik Green across knuckles, brows and jaw muscles.
- Teeth and tusks in Ushabti Bone with a thin Seraphim Sepia wash at the gumline.
3. Armour Plate
- Block the big plates in Mephiston Red for the classic greenskin contrast, or Abaddon Black if you would rather the skin carry the model.
- Chip the edges with a sponge and Leadbelcher, then a few smaller chips in Rhinox Hide inside the bare metal to suggest rust creeping in.
4. Metal and Guns
- Leadbelcher over every barrel, blade and chain, washed with Nuln Oil and edge highlighted with Stormhost Silver on the cutting edges only.
- Stipple Ryza Rust around exhausts and rivet lines on the walker. Orks do not maintain anything, so more is more.
5. The Walker
- Treat the Deff Box as a vehicle rather than a big infantry model: base coat, heavy wash, then dry brush the whole thing before you go near detail work.
- Glyphs and skull markings in Ushabti Bone, painted deliberately crooked. A clean ork glyph looks wrong.
6. Bases
- Texture paste, Rhinox Hide basecoat, then a heavy Karak Stone drybrush for dry battlefield ground.
- Scatter a few brass shell casings or scrap plates from the sprue offcuts to tie the mob to the walker.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
