The Blak Orks Mob Two ork miniatures arrive as a squad of 6 physical resin models, supports already removed and cleaned, ready for assembly and painting. Each figure captures the brutal, ramshackle character of grimdark sci-fi warfare, combining heavy armour plates, crude mechanical backpacks, oversized weapons, and grotesque facial detail that rewards close-up painting work.
The squad of 6 includes three large heavily armoured brutes, one leaner specialist trooper, one smaller runty figure, and one grotesque creature companion. The larger warriors stand approximately 32mm to the top of their heads, scaling correctly for most 28-32mm grimdark wargaming systems. The Blak Orks Mob Two ork roster offers varied weapon loadouts across the group: a gatling-style rotary cannon, a tube-launcher, a flamer nozzle weapon, serrated blades, and a pistol variant, giving the squad visual variety on the tabletop. The parts layout shown in the component spread confirms a modular assembly design, with interchangeable heads, torsos, legs, and arms included to allow personal customisation of each model before gluing.
These physical resin miniatures are cast at a high detail level, capturing rivet work, chains, gear mechanisms, goggle lenses, and stitched belts that all respond well to washes and layering techniques. The Blak Orks Mob Two ork set arrives in component form ready for hobbyists to clean mould lines where present, assemble with plastic or super glue, and apply their own paint scheme.
Round bases are included for all six models as shown in the product images.
Painting Guide: Blak Orks Mob Two ork miniatures – Squad of 6 Resin ModelsThis squad suits a dirty, industrial colour palette. Follow the steps below for a fast and effective grimdark result.
1. Prime
- Apply a grey or black spray primer evenly across all assembled models
- Allow full cure time before proceeding to base coats
2. Armour Base
- Block in the armour plates with a dark military green such as Death World Forest or Castellan Green
- Paint exposed skin areas with a mid-tone green, working up from a basecoat of Warboss Green
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out mechanical components, pipes, and backpack canisters with Leadbelcher or Gunmetal Grey
- Paint goggle lenses in a bright orange or red for a focal point contrast
4. Weapons
- Base the weapon barrels and blades in a dark metal, then drybrush with Ironbreaker for a worn steel effect
- Add brown leather tones to any grip wrappings or straps
5. Weathering
- Apply Agrax Earthshade or a similar dark brown wash across all surfaces to pull out recessed detail
- Stipple a rust tone such as Ryza Rust onto lower armour edges and weapon muzzles for a battle-worn finish
6. Bases
- Texture paste or sand applied with PVA and painted in a rubble grey or ash wasteland scheme ties the squad together on the tabletop
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
