Space Dwarf Iron Veterans are a squad of heavily armoured, stocky warriors clad in thick power suits and carrying an imposing array of sci-fi weaponry. Each figure in this set stands at 32mm scale and arrives as a physical resin miniature, supports already removed, ready to assemble and paint. The sculpts capture a grimdark aesthetic with rich surface detail across every panel, rivet, and mechanical component.

This squad contains five unique poses, each warrior armed with a different combination of ranged and melee weapons including heavy rifles, rotary cannons, and brutal close-combat axes. The armour plating is chunky and industrial, covered in hoses, vents, and battle-worn texture that rewards careful painting. These Space Dwarf Iron Veterans are ideal for use in any 28mm or 32mm sci-fi skirmish or mass battle wargame that accepts proxy miniatures.

The second image shows a size comparison with a standard 32mm space marine-style figure. The Space Dwarf Iron Veterans are noticeably shorter and broader, with a silhouette that is instantly recognisable on the tabletop. A third set of five poses with heavier backpack equipment is also shown, suggesting versatility in squad building and role assignment across different force compositions.

Each miniature is cast in high-quality grey resin, cleaned and trimmed before shipping. Minor flash or mould lines may remain in recessed areas and can be removed with a hobby knife before priming. Bases are included. Miniatures are supplied unpainted and unassembled where applicable.

Painting Guide: Space Dwarf Iron Veterans- Sci-Fi Wargaming Miniatures, 32mm

The following guide is designed to help you bring your Space Dwarf Iron Veterans to life using standard hobby paints and basic techniques suitable for intermediate painters.

1. Prime

  • Apply a grey or black spray primer in thin, even coats from approximately 30cm away.
  • Allow to fully cure for at least one hour before applying any base coats.

2. Armour Base

  • Apply a flat mid-tone colour such as dark iron grey, deep red, or military green across all armour panels.
  • Use a medium flat brush and work in thin layers to preserve sculpted detail.

3. Trim and Details

  • Pick out rivets, hoses, and vents in a contrasting brass or bronze metallic.
  • Use a fine detail brush for small components and mechanical tubing.

4. Weapons

  • Basecoat weapon barrels and stocks in gunmetal or dark steel.
  • Add a lighter silver highlight along raised barrel edges to suggest worn metal.

5. Weathering

  • Apply a brown or black wash over the entire miniature to settle into recesses and add depth.
  • Drybrush raised armour edges lightly with a pale silver or bone colour to simulate battle damage.

6. Bases

  • Cover the base in texture paste or fine sand, allow to dry, then paint in earth tones and finish with a tufts of static grass for a gritty battlefield feel.

This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
