Forgotten Champions rise from the ash and ruin of a dying world, and Rynna stands among them as a force of untamed elemental fury. This 32mm resin miniature, sculpted by Haito, depicts a human druid mid-combat, staff raised and claw hand crackling with savage intent. Her flowing robes and braided hair billow as though caught in the eye of a storm, and her base is littered with broken bones and shattered stone.
Rynna is a single-model squad ideal for skirmish warbands, tabletop RPG campaigns, or as a display piece for collectors who demand character in every centimetre. The sculpt features exceptional detail across her layered skirts, armoured chest piece, and twisted wooden staff topped with a geometric crystal head. Both front and rear profiles are production-render shown, giving painters a full view of the flowing cape and long straight hair trailing behind her.
As a member of the Forgotten Champions range, Rynna fits seamlessly into any force that draws its power from arcane or natural sources. Her dynamic pose communicates raw aggression, making her a visual anchor on any battlefield. The sculpt rewards both beginner painters and seasoned hobbyists with large open surfaces alongside intricate fine details.
Supplied unpainted and unassembled as a single resin model on a 40mm oval base. Sculpted by Haito. Part of the Forgotten Champions collection.
Painting Guide: Rynna - Human DruidThis guide will help you bring Rynna to life as a weathered wilderness channeller from the Forgotten Champions range, using a muted earthy palette with flashes of cold magical energy.
1. Prime
- Apply a grey or bone zenithal prime to preserve the sculpt's natural shading and prepare surfaces for contrast or wash techniques.
2. Armour Base
- Base the chest armour and leg wraps in a warm parchment or aged linen tone such as Zandri Dust or Wraithbone.
- Apply a thin wash of Seraphim Sepia into the recesses to define the quilted panels and belt details.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out buckles, rings, and belt fittings in a tarnished bronze using Castellax Bronze followed by a Agrax Earthshade wash.
- Highlight braid ties and armour edges with a fine line of Liberator Gold to catch zenithal light.
4. Weapons
- Paint the twisted wooden staff with Dryad Bark base, dry-brushed with Karak Stone to bring out the rope-wrapped texture.
- Glaze the crystal staff head with thin layers of Aethermatic Blue and Talassar Blue, leaving the centre bright for a cold ethereal glow effect.
5. Weathering
- Stipple the lower robes with diluted Rhinox Hide to suggest travel through mud and broken terrain consistent with the Forgotten Champions aesthetic.
- Add subtle OSL from the staff crystal onto the raised hand using thinned Lothern Blue applied in fine feathered strokes.
6. Bases
- Drybrush the broken bone scatter and cracked stone base with Ushabti Bone and Administratum Grey, then finish with tufts of dead grass to reinforce the desolate wilderness setting.
