Rustland's Wolves - Raiders are the muscle of the pack, eight fighters who have clawed their way through the Rustlands long enough to know exactly how brutal this world can be. They carry that knowledge in every pose, every weapon, every scarred piece of kit they wear into a fight. This is the squad that holds the line, pushes through the breach, and makes sure the job gets done.

Supplied unpainted.

The set covers a strong spread of combat roles and body types. Several figures carry long-barrelled assault rifles in tight firing stances, weight forward, eyes on the target. Others move with a loose, dangerous confidence, weapon across the chest or swinging at the hip, ready for whatever comes next. One figure advances at a low run, coat shredded at the hem, rifle held low and ready. Another raises a heavy wrench overhead, the kind of fighter who prefers the direct approach. The variety across the eight means the squad reads as a genuine crew rather than a uniform unit, held together by attitude and survival instinct rather than matching gear.

Sculpted by 42studio, each figure stands at 32mm and arrives as a physical resin miniature with supports already removed and cleaned, ready to assemble and paint. The sculpt quality holds detail well at this scale, from buckled boots and knee guards to the texture on jacket collars and weapon furniture.

The Rustland's Wolves - Raiders set suits any post-collapse skirmish setting where gangers, mercenaries, or wasteland crews take the field. Eight figures per set.

Painting Guide: Rustland's Wolves - Raiders

These figures reward a gritty, lived-in paint job. Focus on worn materials, heavy weathering, and a palette that suggests constant exposure to dust, rust, and hard weather.

1. Prime

  • Prime with a grey or black spray for a neutral base that suits dark leather and worn metal tones.
  • A zenithal highlight with light grey from above helps map the forms before any paint goes down.

2. Armour Base

  • Base the jackets and clothing in dark brown, olive drab, or faded black depending on the character.
  • Apply a mid-brown or dark flesh tone to any exposed padding or strapping for contrast.

3. Trim and Details

  • Pick out knee guards, shoulder plates, and boot clasps in a dark steel or gunmetal tone.
  • Use a warm off-white or pale bone for scarves, straps, and any lighter cloth elements.

4. Weapons

  • Base weapon bodies in dark grey or black, then drybrush with a mid-steel to catch raised edges.
  • Add orange-brown rust streaks along grips, barrels, and stock joins for a field-worn look.

5. Weathering

  • Apply a brown wash across the whole model to unify the palette and deepen recesses.
  • Chip leather and armour panels with a sponge and dark brown, then add fine silver nicks on top.

6. Bases

  • Use cracked earth texture paste, sand, or fine grit in shades of ochre and rust to suggest dry Rustlands terrain. A few small pebbles or wire scraps tie the base to the wasteland setting.

This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
