Pin-Up Fantasy Bar Girl Miniature – Nuru is a stunning physical resin miniature depicting a kneeling anthropomorphic jackal-eared warrior maiden, rendered in rich detail with Egyptian-inspired adornments, ankh jewellery, wrapped arm bindings, a layered fringe skirt, and a flowing tail. This single-figure miniature stands approximately 40mm tall and arrives fully cleaned with supports already removed, ready for assembly and painting.
Nuru kneels beside a slender pedestal bar table, one hand raised thoughtfully to her chin while a wooden barrel mug rests at the table edge. Her long flowing hair, pointed ears, and large decorative tail give her a fantastical silhouette that stands out in any collection. The sculpt captures a narrative moment with genuine personality, making this Pin-Up figure as much a display piece as a gaming miniature.
This piece was sculpted by Alternative Games, whose eye for character and detail is evident throughout the figure. Every detail has been carefully cast in high-quality grey resin. The surface texture on her wrappings, the carved hieroglyphic-style markings on her torso, and the grain detail on the wooden mug are all crisp and well defined. This Pin piece rewards patient painters who enjoy layering fine details across varied surface types.
Squad size is one model. Supplied unassembled and unpainted. Superglue recommended for final assembly. This miniature is suited to 32mm scale wargaming bases and display collections alike.
Painting Guide: Pin-Up Fantasy Bar Girl Miniature – NuruThis Pin-Up sculpt rewards a warm, earthy palette balanced against cool blue-grey skin tones. Work from dark to light, building up contrast gradually to make the fine detail pop.
1. Prime
- Apply a zenithal prime: black spray from below, grey spray from above, to establish natural shadow and highlight before any colour is added.
2. Armour Base
- Base coat the skin in a cool mid-grey blue such as Blue Horror or Fenrisian Grey.
- Shade recesses with a thin wash of Drakenhof Nightshade for depth in the anatomy.
3. Trim and Details
- Paint the ankh earrings and jewellery in Retributor Armour, then glaze with Casandora Yellow for a warm gold tone.
- Use Wraithbone for the linen wrappings, shaded with Skeleton Horde contrast paint for fast, natural results.
4. Weapons
- Paint the wooden barrel mug with Mournfang Brown as a base coat, then drybrush with Tyrant Skull to bring out the wood grain.
- Pick out the metal banding with Leadbelcher and finish with Agrax Earthshade to give it a worn tavern look.
5. Weathering
- Apply a thin stipple of Rhinox Hide at the hem of the fringe skirt to suggest dust and travel.
- Add faint edge highlights to the tail tip using White Scar mixed with your base skin tone to keep it cohesive.
6. Bases
- Texture paste in a sandy desert tone suits the Egyptian aesthetic. Drybrush with Ushabti Bone and finish with a few small stones or tufts for a tavern courtyard feel.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
