Forgotten Champions brings you Malyn Vilechant, a Human Witch who walks the razor edge between forbidden knowledge and absolute destruction. Sculpted by Haito, this 32mm scale resin miniature captures a hooded sorceress mid-stride, her bone-adorned scythe trailing chains of harvested skulls as dark energy coils around her fingertips.

Malyn is a lone operative, shipped as a single-model unit ready for assembly and painting. Her silhouette tells a story of cold ruthlessness: a low hood shadowing eyes that have seen too much, a belt of carved skull totems, and a great ritual scythe etched with sigils of ruin. Every detail rewards close attention, from the texture of her flowing robes to the individual vertebrae worked into her accessories.

Designed for collectors and tabletop players who demand narrative weight in every model they place on the board, Malyn fits seamlessly into any dark fantasy or grimdark setting. Her dynamic pose and layered detail make her an ideal centrepiece for a warband of magic users, cursed outcasts, or agents of forbidden power. Forgotten Champions models are cast in high-resolution resin to preserve the finest surface detail from Haito's original sculpt.

Squad size: 1 model. Miniature supplied unassembled and unpainted. Resin miniatures may require light cleanup and minor gap filling before assembly. Not suitable for children under 14 years.

Painting Guide: Malyn Vilechant - Human Witch

Malyn rewards a patient brush. Her pale resin tone suggests a natural starting point of cold, desaturated skin, contrasted against deep blacks and corroded bone. Use this guide to bring a Forgotten Champions warlock to life with a grimdark palette.

1. Prime

  • Apply a zenithal prime using black from below and off-white from above to establish instant shadow and highlight depth across the robes and skin.

2. Armour Base

  • Block in robes with a deep charcoal grey, thinned to two smooth coats.
  • Paint exposed skin areas with a muted pale flesh, keeping tones cold rather than warm.

3. Trim and Details

  • Pick out skull totems and bone details with ivory, then wash with a sepia shade to deepen recesses.
  • Highlight raised edges of skulls back up with pure white for a dried bone finish.

4. Weapons

  • Basecoat the scythe blade in dark steel, then stipple with silver on the cutting edge to suggest a honed, well-used weapon.
  • Paint the haft in aged wood tones, drybrushed lightly with bone to suggest dust and wear.

5. Weathering

  • Apply thin washes of brown and black into cloth folds and around the base of skulls to simulate grime accumulated on long campaigns.
  • Add subtle OSL in a sickly green or purple around her outstretched hand to suggest channelled dark energy.

6. Bases

  • Drybrush the cracked stone base with mid-grey and pale grey in progressive layers, then add a thin brown wash to settle the tones and tie the model into a bleak, desolate landscape worthy of any Forgotten Champions warband.
