Forgotten Champions brings you King Anrtix, a commanding Dwarf Fighter miniature sculpted by Haito with breathtaking detail and old-world authority. Clad in flowing robes adorned with Celtic knotwork, a fur-lined pauldron, and a horned helm, this king radiates ancient power and unyielding resolve.

Bearing a double-headed axe etched with runic carvings and a large round shield decorated with intricate concentric patterns, King Anrtix is built for the front lines. His long beard and heavy cloak tell the story of a ruler forged in war, not born to a throne. Every fold, rivet, and clasp has been rendered with masterful precision, making this model a true centrepiece for any warband or display shelf.

The miniature ships as a single-piece resin model on a scenic rubble base, standing approximately 35mm to the top of his horned helm. Both front and rear sculpts are shown, confirming the exceptional level of detail carried across the entire figure. Forgotten Champions models are designed for collectors and competitive painters who demand the highest quality from their hobby.

Sculpted by Haito, King Anrtix joins a growing roster of elite warrior figures inspired by ancient mountain clans and their unbreakable iron culture. Whether leading your painted warband into battle or standing alone as a display piece, this model commands respect from every angle.

Painting Guide: King Anrtix - Dwarf Fighter

This guide will help you bring King Anrtix to life with a weathered, battle-hardened palette that fits the Forgotten Champions aesthetic perfectly.

1. Prime

  • Spray with a light grey or bone primer to preserve the fine surface detail

2. Armour Base

  • Apply a warm stone or aged linen basecoat to the robes and cloak
  • Use a mid-grey for the helm and axe head, keeping tones desaturated and cold

3. Trim and Details

  • Pick out the Celtic knotwork on the shield and axe with a tarnished gold or bronze
  • Wash the trim with a dark brown shade to settle the recesses and age the metal

4. Weapons

  • Drybrush the axe blades with bright silver to raise the edges and suggest sharpening
  • Glaze the axe haft with a warm brown leather tone and seal with a satin varnish

5. Weathering

  • Stipple chipped paint effects on the shield rim using a torn blister pack sponge
  • Add subtle rust streaks below rivets using diluted orange and brown pigments

6. Bases

  • Drybrush the rubble base with light grey then bone, finish with tufts and a matte varnish to tie the whole Forgotten Champions miniature together
