The following guide is designed to help you bring King Anrtix to life with a gritty, aged, and battle-worn finish suitable for tabletop display or competitive presentation.

1. Prime

• Apply a zenithal prime using black spray from below and grey or bone white from above at a 45-degree angle to pre-shade the cloak and fur areas naturally.

2. Armour Base

• Basecoat the horned helmet and chainmail areas with a dark steel such as Leadbelcher or equivalent, then apply a dark brown wash to settle into recesses.
• Paint the cloak and robes with a warm stone or parchment tone, leaving the recesses darker from the prime coat showing through.

3. Trim and Details

• Pick out the knotwork on the shield, belt buckle, and helmet engraving with a warm gold or aged bronze, then apply a sepia wash to knock back the brightness.
• Drybrush the fur mantle lightly with a cream or off-white tone to lift the tips of each strand and add depth.

4. Weapons

• Paint the double-headed axe blade with a cool silver, then apply selective rust stippling using orange and brown at the edge of the blade for a lived-in look.
• Wrap the axe handle in a deep wood brown and glaze with a reddish-brown to suggest aged, oiled timber.

5. Weathering
