Forgotten Champions brings you Kaelara Iceblade, a ferocious Human Barbarian sculpted by Haito and ready to unleash cold fury upon any battlefield. This single-model kit captures Kaelara mid-strike, her massive two-handed sword raised high above flowing battle-worn hair, her stance wide and dominant atop a rugged rocky base scattered with jagged crystal shards and a lone mushroom. Every detail speaks of a warrior born from frozen wastes and hardened by endless conflict.
The sculpt presents front and rear profiles that are equally rich in detail. Layered shoulder armour, chainmail panels, leather wrappings around the legs and forearms, a belt pouch, fleur-de-lis engravings on her gauntlet, and a secondary blade sheathed at her hip all reward close inspection. The dynamic pose conveys raw, unstoppable momentum, making Kaelara an undeniable centrepiece for any skirmish warband or tabletop collection.
Kaelara is supplied as a high-resolution resin miniature on a 40mm round display base. Printed at exceptional detail resolution, she is ideal for painters of every skill level seeking a rewarding project within the Forgotten Champions range. The model arrives unpainted and requires assembly with appropriate adhesive.

Painting Guide: Kaelara Iceblade - Human BarbarianThis guide will help you bring Kaelara to life with a cold, battle-hardened palette that suits her icy namesake and the brutal world of Forgotten Champions.
1. Prime
- Apply a zenithal prime using black from below and white from above to establish natural shading across the sculpt.
2. Armour Base
- Base the leather armour and leg wrappings with Rakarth Flesh, then wash with Agrax Earthshade.
- Highlight raised edges with Pallid Wych Flesh for a worn, sun-bleached appearance.
3. Trim and Details
- Paint chainmail panels with Leadbelcher, wash with Nuln Oil, and drybrush lightly with Ironbreaker.
- Pick out the fleur-de-lis gauntlet engraving and belt pouch buckle with Retributor Armour for a subtle focal accent.
4. Weapons
- Basecoat the great sword blade with Stormhost Silver, then glaze the central fuller with thinned Nihilakh Oxide to suggest frost or enchantment.
- Paint the hilt and pommel with Balthasar Gold, shade with Reikland Fleshshade, and highlight with Liberator Gold.
5. Weathering
- Stipple Rhinox Hide along armour edges and weapon flats to simulate chips and grime earned across brutal campaigns.
- Draw fine scratches with a detail brush loaded with Ironbreaker on the blade to reinforce a battered, veteran look befitting Forgotten Champions.
6. Bases
- Drybrush the rocky base with Administratum Grey over a Mechanicus Standard Grey basecoat, pick out crystal shards with Baharroth Blue highlighted up to White Scar, and finish with a few tufts of dead grass for a desolate highland feel.
