The Inside the Magic Forest Set brings a full warband of nature-bound fantasy characters to your tabletop, each cast in high-quality resin and arriving ready to assemble and paint. This set draws on ancient woodland lore, featuring a towering tree guardian, a centaur mounted warrior, a vine-wreathed dryad, a fairy spellcaster, a horned druidic elder clutching a gnarled staff, a dwarf frontliner, a ram-horned ranger, and an elven archer, among others. Scaled at 32mm, the detail on every figure is sharp and clean, from the bark-like texture of the tree golem to the flowing hair and leaf armour of the dryad. These characters were sculpted by RN Estudio, whose designs bring a strong sense of character and craft to every piece in the set.

Each miniature in the Inside the Magic Forest Set has had its supports removed and been cleaned and sanded where needed. The figures ship as physical resin casts, ready for assembly where multi-part, and ready for priming and painting straight away. No printing, no preparation from scratch, just open the package and start building your forest warband. The squad contains approximately 9 individual character miniatures at 32mm scale, making it an exceptional value collection for any fantasy skirmish game or RPG campaign.

The sculpts lean into a wild, primal aesthetic. Antlers, vines, roots, mushrooms, and ancient armour motifs are woven throughout the set. Each piece has a strong silhouette and dynamic pose, sitting well on the included textured bases. The Inside the Magic Forest Set is a fitting centrepiece for a nature-themed force or a woodland encounter table.

Painting Guide: Inside the Magic Forest Set - Fantasy RPG Miniatures, 32mm Scale

This guide covers the full range of materials found across the set, from bark and stone to skin, metal, and magical effects.

1. Prime

  • Apply a grey or bone primer across all figures to reveal shadow depth and surface detail clearly.
  • Use a black primer on the tree guardian to pre-shade the recesses in the bark texture.

2. Armour Base

  • Paint bark-armoured surfaces with a dark brown basecoat such as Rhinox Hide, then drybrush up through Mournfang Brown to Ushabti Bone.
  • For leather straps and boots, use Doombull Brown as a base and highlight with Skrag Brown.

3. Trim and Details

  • Pick out leaf motifs and vine details in a deep forest green, highlighting the edges with a bright yellow-green.
  • Antlers and bone elements benefit from a wash of Seraphim Sepia over a Ushabti Bone base, then a light drybrush of White Scar on the tips.

4. Weapons

  • Paint metal staff heads and blades with Leadbelcher, wash with Nuln Oil, then edge highlight with Runefang Steel.
  • For magical staff orbs, use a glowing amber or teal, blending up to a near-white centre point to suggest an inner light source.

5. Weathering

  • Apply stippled brown and green to base edges and lower robes to suggest mud and moss.
  • Dab a thin glaze of Athonian Camoshade over wooden surfaces to unify bark tones and add a damp, forest atmosphere.

6. Bases

  • Texture the bases with fine sand or ready-mixed basing paste in earth tones, then add small tufts of static grass and lichen for a forest floor feel.
  • Paint mushroom caps on the scenic bases in warm red with white spots for a classic woodland touch.
