Grokk Brutelord is a walking engine of destruction, a brutal war chief forged in endless conflict and clad in crude but devastating power armour. Grokk towers over lesser fighters, his hulking frame encased in reinforced plates adorned with grisly trophies, skulls dangling from his belt and massive tusks mounted proudly upon his pauldron. Every inch of Grokk tells a story of violence earned and dominance claimed.

At the heart of Grokk’s battlefield presence is overwhelming firepower. One arm has been replaced entirely with a roaring rotary cannon, spitting streams of high-calibre rounds capable of shredding infantry and tearing through light armour with savage efficiency. Mounted above this brutal weapon are additional rockets, hastily bolted on but no less deadly, giving Grokk the ability to unleash explosive devastation into clustered enemies.

His other arm ends in a massive powered claw, crackling with energy and capable of crushing armour, machinery, and bone alike. In close combat, Grokk is unstoppable, ripping apart anything unfortunate enough to stand within reach. Whether tearing through enemy elites or smashing fortified positions, Grokk thrives where the fighting is thickest.

Grokk’s visual presence is as intimidating as his weaponry. The option to equip either a bare head or a brutal helm allows hobbyists to tailor his personality—whether as a snarling warlord or an ironclad juggernaut. Accompanying him is a savage companion boar, adding both character and narrative depth to the model, evoking a relentless, war-driven bond between beast and master.

Designed with a grimdark sci-fi aesthetic, Grokk embodies raw aggression and industrial brutality. His armour is uneven, heavy, and scarred, perfect for painters who enjoy weathering, battle damage, and high-contrast metallic finishes. Grokk is not just a leader, he is a symbol of relentless war.

Painting Guide: Grokk Brutelord

Bring Grokk Brutelord to life with a gritty, battle-worn finish that emphasises his brutal nature.

1. Prime

  • Black primer for a dark, industrial base.

2. Armour Base

  • Use dark greens, dirty reds, or worn metallics for the armour panels.
  • Highlight edges with lighter tones or silver chipping effects.

3. Trim and Details

  • Use brass, bronze, or rusted steel for trim and mechanical parts.
  • Apply brown or black washes to deepen recesses and add grime.

4. Weapons

  • Paint the rotary cannon in gunmetal with heat staining near the barrels.
  • Add subtle glow effects to rockets or power claw energy points.

5. Weathering

  • Add sponge chipping and scratches across armour plates.
  • Apply dust, mud, or oil streaks around legs and joints.

6. Bases

  • Create a war-torn base with rubble, scrap metal, or scorched earth textures.
