The Forgotten Champions: Monsters Battle Pack brings two of the most fearsome and grotesque creatures to your tabletop collection, each arriving as a fully physical resin miniature with supports already removed and cleaned, ready to assemble and paint. This pack includes the Fleshrender, a towering abomination of fused human faces and exposed ribcage standing approximately 80mm tall, and the Evil Eye, a floating horror of writhing tentacles and gnashing teeth mounted on a display stand, approximately 40mm in diameter. Both pieces have been cast in high-detail grey resin, capturing every sinew, bone shard, and protruding eye-stalk with precision.

The Fleshrender looms over the battlefield on gnarled, root-like legs, its chest cavity torn open to reveal rows of bone. Multiple anguished faces press outward from its flesh, giving it an unmistakably cursed and tormented character. The Evil Eye drifts above its base on a clear mounting rod, tentacles curling outward from a single enormous eye socket and a jaw crowded with jagged fangs. Both models are multi-part kits that require minimal assembly and are fully compatible with standard hobby adhesives.

The Forgotten Champions: Monsters Battle Pack is ideal for skirmish games, dungeon crawl campaigns, or as display pieces in any dark fantasy or grimdark collection. These are collector-grade sculpts, packed with narrative detail that rewards careful painting and basing. Both creatures were sculpted by Haito, whose work is known for its intense, horror-driven character and exceptional surface detail. Whether fielded as elite encounter pieces or painted purely for the hobby shelf, they make an imposing centrepiece for any force built around horror and dread.

Bases are included. Models require assembly, priming, and painting before use. Standard safety precautions should be observed when handling resin miniatures.

Painting Guide: Forgotten Champions: Monsters Battle Pack

The following guide covers both models included in the Forgotten Champions: Monsters Battle Pack, focusing on a pallid, corpse-flesh tone for the Fleshrender and a muted organic look for the Evil Eye.

1. Prime

  • Apply a grey or white spray primer across all surfaces to preserve sculpted detail and provide good paint adhesion.
  • For the Evil Eye, a light bone-coloured primer can reduce the number of base coat layers needed.

2. Armour Base

  • Fleshrender: basecoat all skin areas with a pale pinkish-white such as Rakarth Flesh or Pallid Wych Flesh.
  • Evil Eye: basecoat the body in Ushabti Bone or Screaming Skull for a dry, aged organic texture.

3. Trim and Details

  • Paint exposed bone and ribcage sections in Zandri Dust, then drybrush lightly with White Scar to pick out ridges.
  • The human faces on the Fleshrender can be painted in a slightly darker flesh tone to distinguish them from the surrounding body mass.

4. Weapons

  • The Eye: basecoat the central eyeball in white, glaze with a thin coat of Waywatcher Green or Hexwraith Flame for an eerie glow.
  • Fangs and claws should be painted in off-white then shaded with Agrax Earthshade in the recesses.

5. Weathering

  • Apply a wash of Reikland Fleshshade over all flesh tones, concentrating in the deep folds and cavities.
  • Use a thin glaze of Carroburg Crimson around the face cavities and open wounds for a raw, bruised look.

6. Bases

  • Texture paste in a cracked earth or ash waste style suits the grimdark aesthetic of both creatures. Drybrush the base with Karak Stone and finish with a few tufts of dead grass.

This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
