The Forgotten Champions: Giants Battle Pack brings you a squad of two imposing resin miniatures, Azurr and Baron Varncast, each standing approximately 75-80mm tall on their scenic bases. These are physical, already-printed resin miniatures with supports removed and surfaces cleaned, arriving ready to assemble and paint. Every detail has been rendered with exceptional clarity, from layered armour plates and fur-lined cloaks to skull-adorned belts and massive weapons that dwarf ordinary infantry.

Azurr is armed with an enormous cleaving blade, standing atop a base strewn with shattered wooden stakes and broken fortifications. Baron Varncast carries a great spear and a broad heraldic shield decorated with a horned skull motif, posed triumphantly over a rubble-and-spike battlefield base. Both figures convey crushing physical dominance and worn, battle-hardened character. The Forgotten Champions: Giants Battle Pack is ideal for wargaming armies, display shelves, or tabletop RPG encounters where you need something truly colossal on the table.

These giants draw from a grimdark aesthetic of ancient warriors forgotten by time, wearing heavy armour scarred by countless battles and carrying relics of wars long past. Their scale makes them natural centrepiece models capable of anchoring an entire force visually. This battle pack was sculpted by Haito, whose work brings a striking depth of character and narrative weight to both figures. The Forgotten Champions: Giants Battle Pack suits any dark fantasy or grimdark wargaming setting that values intimidating, lore-rich sculpts over generic stock models.

Each miniature ships unpainted and may require minor assembly. Hobby adhesive such as super glue is recommended. Bases are included.

Painting Guide: Forgotten Champions: Giants Battle Pack

These two giants reward a methodical approach. Work from the innermost layers outward, letting each stage dry fully before moving to the next. A wet palette will help you blend transitions across the large armour surfaces.

1. Prime

  • Apply a grey or black primer in thin, even coats across all surfaces, ensuring deep recesses on skulls and belt details are reached.

2. Armour Base

  • Base coat armour plates in a dark iron or cold grey, such as Leadbelcher or Dark Reaper.
  • Apply a medium brown base to fur cloaks and leather straps, such as Mournfang Brown or Rhinox Hide.

3. Trim and Details

  • Pick out skull motifs, shield emblems, and rivets with a bone or aged ivory tone such as Ushabti Bone.
  • Shade all recesses with a dark brown or black wash to deepen shadows between armour panels.

4. Weapons

  • Drybrush blades with a bright silver such as Stormhost Silver, concentrating on edges.
  • Add a subtle blue or green glaze to weapon blades if you want a magical or ancient metal appearance.

5. Weathering

  • Stipple chipping with a sponge using a dark brown followed by a light metallic to simulate battle damage across armour surfaces.
  • Apply a rust wash or streaking grime product to lower armour sections and base rims for a worn field campaign look.

6. Bases

  • Drybrush broken stakes and rubble elements in sandy grey tones, add a dark brown soil wash, and finish with tufts or static grass at the edges to tie the model to its battlefield setting.
