The Forgotten Champions: Elves Battle Pack brings two finely sculpted physical resin miniatures to your collection, each cast and cleaned ready for the painting table. These ancient guardians combine deadly ranged precision with an otherworldly grace that sets them apart on any battlefield. The pack includes Ash Regnant, an elven archer in flowing robes with skull iconography and a longbow drawn taut, and Eryxine, a wild-robed ranger in tribal wrappings with a full quiver and serpentine bow. Both figures stand approximately 32mm scale and arrive with supports already removed and surfaces sanded where needed.
Each miniature in the Forgotten Champions: Elves Battle Pack has been sculpted with exceptional anatomical detail. Ash Regnant features layered cloth, armoured bracers, and a dramatic flowing cape captured mid-stride. Eryxine carries leather-wrapped wrists, tattered garments, and a naturalistic pose that suggests she is stalking through ancient woodland. Both figures sit on detailed rocky rubble bases with skull scatter details, enhancing the grimdark atmosphere straight out of the box.
Both figures were sculpted by Haito, whose work is showcased throughout this pack in the careful surface textures and characterful poses of each piece. These models are ideal for use as hero-level characters, unit leaders, or standalone display pieces in your fantasy skirmish or mass-battle collection. The level of sculpted surface detail rewards careful brushwork and allows experienced painters to push layering and blending techniques on cloth, leather, and bare skin. Whether you field them together or separately, the Forgotten Champions: Elves Battle Pack adds genuine visual impact to any force.
Each figure ships as a physical pre-cleaned resin miniature. Some minor assembly may be required depending on bow arm positioning. Supplied unpainted and unassembled where applicable. Bases are included.
Painting Guide: Forgotten Champions: Elves Battle PackThis guide is aimed at intermediate hobbyists looking to bring out the full character of these elven warriors through layered natural tones and forest-touched accents.
1. Prime
- Apply a thin, even coat of grey or off-white spray primer to preserve fine surface detail on cloth folds and facial features.
- A zenithal highlight with white from above helps pre-shade areas before painting begins.
2. Armour Base
- For Ash Regnant, base armoured areas in a warm bronze or antique gold, building up with a mid-tone highlight on raised edges.
- For Eryxine, paint leather wrappings with a mid-brown base coat, then layer with a lighter tan on raised straps.
3. Trim and Details
- Wash bronze and gold areas with a dark sepia or brown wash to settle into recesses and age the metallic surfaces.
- Paint skull decorations in bone white, washed with a thin brown shade to give them a weathered, ancient appearance.
4. Weapons
- Paint the longbows with a layered wood effect, starting from dark brown at the grip and lightening toward the limb tips.
- Arrow shafts can be painted in pale birch or ash tones, with dark steel or iron for the arrowheads.
5. Weathering
- Add subtle chipping to armoured surfaces using a small torn sponge and dark brown paint for a worn field look.
- Dust the lower robes and base edges with dry-brushed pale earth tones to suggest movement through ancient terrain.
6. Bases
- Drybrush the rocky rubble bases from dark grey up to a pale stone highlight, then add tufts of autumn grass or moss for a forest-floor feel that complements both figures.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
