The Forgotten Champions: Dwarves Battle Pack brings you two fearsome resin miniatures, Baldric Stonehammer and Kaelrox, each sculpted with extraordinary detail and delivered as physical, ready-to-paint figures. Supports have already been removed and surfaces cleaned, so you can move straight to assembly and painting the moment they arrive. These stout and unyielding warriors stand approximately 35-40mm to the top of their helms, making them a commanding presence on any tabletop.
Baldric Stonehammer charges forward in a dynamic pose, gripping a rune-inscribed warhammer with both fists, his braided mane wild and his expression a battle-hardened roar. His armour is layered with studded pauldrons, chainmail wrappings and a broad belt buckle bearing an ancestral sigil. Kaelrox stands in grim readiness, dual curved blades in hand, his bald head flanked by sweeping horns and his armour decorated with skull trophies and rattling chains. Both figures carry the weight of ancient grudges and unbroken resolve in every sculpted line.
The Forgotten Champions: Dwarves Battle Pack is ideal for collectors, skirmish wargamers and painters who want centrepiece-quality characters with deep lore potential. Whether fielded as faction leaders, mercenary champions or dungeon bosses, these two warriors command the table. Both miniatures were crafted by sculptor Haito, whose work brings exceptional character and weight to every figure in this pack. Each miniature arrives cast in high-detail grey resin, requiring only assembly of any separate parts before priming and painting.
With rune carvings on hammer heads, skull adornments on belts and cloaks, layered leather and plate armour, and expressive faces full of fury, both figures reward careful brush work and offer hours of satisfying painting. Add them to your collection and let the stone and steel speak for themselves.
Painting Guide: Forgotten Champions: Dwarves Battle PackThe following guide is designed for intermediate painters and covers both Baldric Stonehammer and Kaelrox. Adjust colours to suit your personal palette or faction scheme.
1. Prime
- Apply a grey or black spray primer for a neutral base that suits both stone-toned armour and dark leathers.
- Ensure all recesses are coated evenly before moving on.
2. Armour Base
- For Baldric, basecoat armour plates in a dark iron grey such as Leadbelcher or Dark Reaper, then apply a mid-tone highlight to raised edges.
- For Kaelrox, use a warm dark leather brown on the layered armour sections, leaving recesses deep and shadowed.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out rune inscriptions on the hammer head and armour trim in a pale bone or aged gold to make them pop.
- Paint skull trophies on Kaelrox in ivory, then wash with a brown shade to add depth and age.
4. Weapons
- Basecoat blades in a cold steel tone and apply a directional highlight along the edge to simulate a sharpened finish.
- Add spot rust using a stippled application of orange-brown to suggest battle-worn weaponry.
5. Weathering
- Apply a heavy wash of dark brown or black into all recesses to define the sculpted detail and unify the tones.
- Drybrush raised surfaces lightly with a pale metallic or off-white to simulate wear and battle damage.
6. Bases
- Texture the base with fine grit or a textured paste, paint in a warm stone grey, then drybrush with a light tan to suggest ancient mountain rock.
- Add a few tufts of dry grass or moss for contrast against the cold stone palette.
