The following guide is written for hobbyists who want to bring Eryxine to life with a naturalistic wilderness colour scheme that complements her ranger aesthetic. Acrylic hobby paints are recommended throughout.

1. Prime

• Apply a thin, even coat of grey or bone spray primer across the entire model to seal the resin surface and improve paint adhesion.
• Allow to cure fully in a dust-free environment before applying any base coats.

2. Armour Base

• Base coat the cloth wrap and skirt panels in a warm mid-brown such as Rhinox Hide or Mournfang Brown for an earthy, worn look.
• Apply a lighter tan such as Zandri Dust or Balor Brown to the bracers, straps, and pauldron to separate them visually from the softer cloth areas.

3. Trim and Details

• Paint skin areas with a warm mid-tone flesh such as Cadian Fleshtone, then layer up with Kislev Flesh toward the raised areas of the face, hands, and midriff.
• Add a fine line of Pallid Wych Flesh to the very highest skin highlights for a sharp, defined finish on the face and knuckles.

4. Weapons

• Base the longbow and arrow shafts in a warm wood tone such as Skrag Brown, then drybrush lightly with Ushabti Bone to lift the grain texture.
• Paint the arrowhead and any metal fittings with Leadbelcher, then wash with Nuln Oil and edge highlight with Ironbreaker for a cold steel appearance.

5. Weathering

• Apply a targeted wash of Agrax Earthshade into the recesses of the cloth, bracers, and quiver to deepen shadows and add a travelled, field-worn quality to the miniature.
• Stipple a thin mix of brown and grey paint onto boot edges and the base of the skirt to suggest accumulated dirt and dust from long days in the wilderness.

6. Bases

• Drybrush the integrated rocky base with Dawnstone over a Mechanicus Standard Grey base coat, then finish with a fine drybrush of Administratum Grey on the highest stone edges.
• Add a small amount of static grass or tufts around the base rim to tie the model into a natural outdoor environment and complement her green or brown colour scheme.
