The Dragon Dreadnought is a towering engine of destruction, sculpted by AtlanForge for those who demand the finest detail in their grimdark collections. This single-model kit draws deep inspiration from flame-born warrior brotherhoods, blending brutal mechanical bulk with ferocious draconic iconography across every armour plate.

Standing as a centrepiece model, the Dragon Dreadnought is encased in heavily textured armour panels adorned with roaring beast reliefs, scaled surfaces, and cascading flame motifs. Multiple heavy weapons loadouts are visible across the design, including a twin-barrelled cannon, a crushing power fist, and shoulder-mounted secondary armaments, making this model an imposing focal point for any warband or display shelf.

Sculpted with the precision AtlanForge is known for, every rivet, cable bundle, and daemon-faced chest plate has been crafted to reward careful painting. The model measures approximately 80 to 100mm in height, placing it firmly in the large centrepiece category. The dynamic forward-leaning pose conveys unstoppable momentum, as though the Dragon Dreadnought is already mid-charge into the enemy line.

Supplied as a resin or FDM-ready digital sculpt depending on your chosen format. Bases and any additional accessories shown in images are for display purposes and may not be included. Check product format details before purchasing.

Painting Guide: Dragon Dreadnought

This guide will help you bring the Dragon Dreadnought to life with a volcanic, ember-scorched colour scheme that honours its draconic heritage and fire-forged identity.

1. Prime

  • Apply a black primer coat for deep shadow retention across the heavily recessed panels
  • Zenithal highlight with grey from above to establish natural lighting

2. Armour Base

  • Basecoat all armour plates with a deep forest green such as Caliban Green or equivalent
  • Layer up with Warpstone Glow on raised edges to build depth across the dragon scale textures

3. Trim and Details

  • Paint all trim, horns, and mechanical joints with a dark brass basecoat
  • Highlight with bright gold on edges to make the draconic iconography pop

4. Weapons

  • Basecoat weapon barrels in dark iron or gunmetal
  • Drybrush lightly with silver and apply an orange glaze to the muzzle ends to suggest heat build-up on the Dragon Dreadnought's armaments

5. Weathering

  • Apply a brown and black wash into all panel recesses and around the feet
  • Stipple patches of rust orange and charcoal around lower leg armour to sell a battle-worn volcanic environment

6. Bases

  • Use cracked lava basing texture paste, dry brush with dark grey, then add orange and yellow glazes into the cracks to complete the scene
