Forgotten Champions brings you Baldric Stonehammer, a towering Dwarf Fighter miniature sculpted by Haito and forged for the battlefield. Built like a mountain and twice as stubborn, Baldric charges into the fray with a rune-etched warhammer in hand and a broadsword strapped across his back, ready for whatever carnage comes next.

This resin miniature captures every detail of a seasoned warrior from the deep holds: braided beard, spiked pauldrons, layered fur trim, studded leather armour, and runic inscriptions carved into the face of his stone hammer. The dynamic pose shows him mid-stride, hammer dropping toward the ground with brutal intent, crushing whatever lies beneath. The scenic base adds debris and broken terrain, grounding the figure in a world that has seen better days.

Ideal for tabletop RPG campaigns, skirmish wargames, or display collections, this Forgotten Champions model is a standout centrepiece for any Dwarf warband. Sculpted with exceptional depth and sharp surface detail, he rewards careful painting and holds washes beautifully across his textured surfaces.

Supplied unpainted and unassembled. Approximately 50mm to the top of the sword hilt. Resin model suitable for experienced hobbyists. Compatible with standard 40mm round bases.

Painting Guide: Baldric Stonehammer - Dwarf Fighter

This Forgotten Champions model rewards a methodical approach. Work from dark recesses outward to bring the rugged stonework and fur details to life with maximum contrast.

1. Prime

  • Apply a zenithal prime using black from below and bone white from above to pre-shade the model and enhance the deep recesses in the armour and fur

2. Armour Base

  • Basecoat the leather armour panels in a mid brown such as Rhinox Hide or similar
  • Layer up to a warm tan highlight on raised edges to separate the overlapping plates

3. Trim and Details

  • Paint the studded rivets and spiked pauldrons in a dark iron tone, then drybrush with gunmetal for a worn metal look
  • Basecoat the fur trim in a deep grey and highlight progressively toward off-white at the tips

4. Weapons

  • Paint the hammer head in a pale stone grey such as Administratum Grey, then apply a thin wash of Agrax Earthshade into the carved runes
  • Highlight the rune channels with a faint blue or white glaze to suggest ancient power radiating from the inscriptions

5. Weathering

  • Stipple chipping fluid or sponge dark brown and black onto armour edges to simulate battle damage and worn iron
  • Add rust streaks below rivets using a thin orange brown wash drawn downward with a fine brush

6. Bases

  • Drybrush the rocky terrain base with grey and bone tones, then add tufts of dead grass and a light dusting of fine grit to complete the Forgotten Champions battlefield aesthetic
