1. Prime

• Apply a thin, even coat of grey or black primer to capture the fine surface detail across the cloak and armour.
• Allow full cure time before proceeding to base coats.

2. Armour Base

• Base coat the leather armour panels in a deep desaturated brown such as Rhinox Hide.
• Layer up with Mournfang Brown on raised edges to suggest worn, aged leather.

3. Trim and Details

• Pick out the skull motif and any bone details with Zandri Dust, then highlight with Ushabti Bone.
• Apply a thin wash of Agrax Earthshade to recessed areas around the skull and belt fixtures.

4. Weapons

• Base the bow limbs in Balor Brown and dry brush lightly with Screaming Skull to suggest polished wood grain.
• Paint the arrowhead and any metal fittings with Leadbelcher, then wash with Nuln Oil for a cold steel finish.

5. Weathering

• Use a stippling brush with thinned Rhinox Hide to add scuff marks and field wear to the cloak edges.

6. Bases
