Couldn't load pickup availability
Anchorite Supay The Farstrike arrives as a single physical resin miniature, standing approximately 38mm from feet to eyes, cast in clean grey resin with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned, ready to assemble and paint straight from the box. Supplied unpainted.
The kit contains 7 parts, giving you a focused and satisfying build. The separate head, weapon arm, crescent arc frame, and accessory details all benefit from careful dry-fitting before any glue is applied, allowing you to confirm alignment and achieve a clean final result.
The figure depicts a lithe, masked warrior mid-stride, robed in billowing layered cloth with exposed musculature at the core. One arm thrusts forward a long, segmented lance crackling with eldritch energy, while the other grips a ringed charm hung with a short blade. A towering crescent arc rises behind the figure, bound at its joints with wrapped cord and tipped with curved hook-blades, forming a dramatic backdrop that doubles as a structural anchor for the composition. The base is strewn with roots and fractured terrain, completing a scene full of aggressive forward momentum.
Sculpted by DakkaDakka, this piece carries the same dynamic, stylised energy found across their wider range of fantasy warrior characters.
Painting Guide: Anchorite Supay The FarstrikeThe render palette leans into cold armour against warm skin tones, with vivid teal energy effects providing the primary accent. The suggestions below follow that scheme closely.
1. Prime
- Apply a light grey spray primer across all parts before assembly, or prime once built if you prefer to check fit first.
- A zenithal highlight pass in white from above will help pick out the raised details on the armour and crescent frame.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat the helmet, shoulder armour, and arm plating with a cool blue-grey such as Fenrisian Grey or Vallejo Wolf Grey.
- Shade the recesses with Nuln Oil or Drakenhof Nightshade to push depth into the segmented collar and elbow joints.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out the bone-coloured trim, horns, and wing-shaped shoulder flanges with Zandri Dust, then highlight up to Ushabti Bone.
- Paint the cord wrappings on the crescent arc and weapon shaft with Mournfang Brown, drybrushed lightly with Baneblade Brown.
4. Weapons
- Basecoat the lance shaft and crescent arc in Leadbelcher, then wash with Agrax Earthshade to add age and grime to the mechanical sections.
- For the energy glow on the lance tip and blade edges, start from white at the hottest point and blend outward through Ice Blue into Sotek Green, finishing with a thin glaze of Waywatcher Green at the outer fringe.
5. Weathering
- Apply fine edge chipping with a sponge and Skavenblight Dinge across the armour panels and crescent frame to suggest hard use.
- Add light rust streaking below the cord bindings using thinned Troll Slayer Orange, pulling strokes downward with a fine detail brush.
6. Bases
- Paint the root texture with Rhinox Hide, drybrush with Mournfang Brown, and finish with Deathclaw Brown highlights to pick out the ridges.
- The crystal formations on the base suit the same teal palette as the weapon glow, worked up from Sotek Green through Skink Blue to a White Scar tip.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
