1. Prime

• Apply a grey or black primer evenly across all 17 assembled parts.
• Ensure recesses in the rune carvings are fully coated for later ink washes to pool correctly.

2. Armour Base

• Basecoat all stone surfaces with a mid-grey such as Mechanicus Standard Grey or equivalent.
• Apply a slightly lighter grey to the raised platform top to separate it visually from the base terrain.

3. Trim and Details

• Pick out rune inscriptions with a pale bone or off-white, keeping strokes thin and controlled.
• Paint crystal shards and horn-like protrusions with a cold blue-grey or deep purple for an otherworldly feel.

4. Weapons

• Paint any skeletal remains with Ushabti Bone or equivalent, then wash with Seraphim Sepia.
• Highlight bone tips and skull ridges with a cream or white to add depth.

5. Weathering

• Apply a generous wash of Nuln Oil or dark brown ink across all stone surfaces, allowing it to settle in cracks and rune channels.
