Zyra Skyfallen is a fierce human barbarian warrior supplied as a physical resin miniature, supports already removed and cleaned, ready to assemble and paint straight out of the box. Standing approximately 32mm scale, this sculpt captures every detail of a battle-hardened raider, from her ornate double-headed axe to her layered leather armour, fur-trimmed boots, and confident stance that radiates raw power.
The miniature is presented in two poses shown front and back, giving painters and collectors a full view of the incredible sculpt detail. Zyra Skyfallen features intricate runic engravings on her axe head, a studded belt with multiple pouches, wrap-bound legs, and a flowing cloak tail that adds dramatic movement to the figure. The textured rocky base adds to the wild, untamed aesthetic of this character.
Whether you are building a warband, a display collection, or need a standout character for your tabletop campaigns, Zyra Skyfallen makes an unforgettable centrepiece. The level of sculpt detail rewards careful painters and makes a striking impression even with a simple basecoat and wash technique.
This piece was sculpted by Haito, whose careful attention to surface texture and character expression is evident throughout every element of the figure.
Each unit is cast in high-quality grey resin, inspected before dispatch, and shipped securely to arrive in excellent condition ready for your hobby desk.
Painting Guide: Zyra Skyfallen - Human BarbarianThe following guide is designed to help you bring out the best in this detailed sculpt, from the warm skin tones to the cold steel of her signature weapon.
1. Prime
- Apply a light grey or bone-coloured primer spray for an even base that complements warm skin tones and leather surfaces.
2. Armour Base
- Base coat the leather armour panels in a mid-brown such as Rhinox Hide or Leather Brown.
- Apply Rawhide or Zandri Dust over the wrapped leg bindings for a bleached, worn look.
3. Trim and Details
- Paint the ring accents and buckles with Retributor Armour or a gold base colour, then shade with Agrax Earthshade.
- Highlight strap edges with a lighter tan to create depth on the layered leather details.
4. Weapons
- Base the axe head with Leadbelcher or Iron Hands Steel, then shade with Nuln Oil for a worn metal finish.
- Drybrush lightly with Runefang Steel to pick out the runic engravings and blade edges.
5. Weathering
- Apply small chips using a sponge and a dark brown mix on the armour edges and axe blade to suggest battle damage.
- Use a thin wash of Agrax Earthshade around recesses on the boots and wraps to suggest grime and travel wear.
6. Bases
- Drybrush the rocky base with Administratum Grey over a Mechanicus Standard Grey base coat, then add tufts or static grass for a highland wilderness feel that suits the character of Zyra Skyfallen.
