Forgotten Champions brings you Zyra Skyfallen, a ferocious Human Barbarian sculpted by Haito and ready to tear through any battlefield. This 32mm resin miniature captures every savage detail of a warrior born from the untamed wilds, from her rugged leather bindings to the ornate double-headed axe she wields with deadly confidence.
Zyra stands defiant, one hand resting on her hip and the other hoisting her massive poleaxe across her shoulder. Her expression is one of ruthless amusement, the smirk of someone who has already decided the fight is over before it begins. Fur-trimmed boots, layered belt pouches, and carved rune detail on the axe head speak to a life lived far beyond civilised walls.
This single miniature set includes both a front-facing and rear-facing sculpt option, giving painters a full 360-degree reference for detailing. Part of the Forgotten Champions collection, Zyra fits seamlessly into any warband, skirmish game, or tabletop RPG campaign needing a brutally charismatic frontline warrior.
Sculpted with crisp surface detail and clean resin casting, she is ideal for intermediate and advanced painters looking to push their blending and texture work. Whether you field her as a lone mercenary or the beating heart of a warband, Zyra Skyfallen is built to dominate the table.
Painting Guide: Zyra Skyfallen - Human BarbarianThis guide will help you bring Zyra to life with a gritty, sun-baked aesthetic that matches the savage tone of the Forgotten Champions range.
1. Prime
- Apply a light grey or wraithbone spray primer for a warm neutral base that suits her skin tones and leatherwork
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat leather straps and bindings with Rhinox Hide, then layer up with Gorthor Brown
- Apply Rakarth Flesh to fur trims and work up to Pallid Wych Flesh for a bleached, weathered look
3. Trim and Details
- Paint collar ring and axe ring details with Leadbelcher, shade with Nuln Oil
- Highlight rune carvings on the axe head with Runefang Steel for sharp contrast
4. Weapons
- Basecoat the axe haft with Mournfang Brown, highlight with Skrag Brown to suggest aged wood grain
- Apply Balthasar Gold to the axe blade panels, shade with Agrax Earthshade and edge highlight with Auric Armour Gold
5. Weathering
- Stipple Typhus Corrosion onto boot soles and lower leg wraps to suggest dried mud and hard travel
- Scratch and chip leather panels using a fine brush loaded with thinned Abaddon Black
6. Bases
- Drybrush the rocky base with Mechanicus Standard Grey then Administratum Grey, and finish with a few tufts of scorched grass to root Zyra firmly in the blasted frontier aesthetic of the Forgotten Champions line
