Zubly is a striking pin-up collectible from the Waifumon range, sculpted at 1/6 scale and standing approximately 300mm tall. This physical resin figurine arrives with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned, ready for assembly and painting. Every detail has been captured with precision, from the bat wings and demon horns to the fitted latex-style outfit, thigh harness straps, and knee-high platform boots.

This figurine draws clear inspiration from dark fantasy and demon lore, blending a sultry pin-up aesthetic with an otherworldly edge. She holds a potion vial in one hand and strikes a confident over-the-shoulder pose, making her an eye-catching centrepiece for any display shelf or collector cabinet. The sculpt showcases fine surface textures across the outfit panels, delicate facial expression, and dynamic hair styling, all cast in high-quality grey hobby resin.

Designed for adult hobbyists who appreciate character-driven collectibles, Zubly is a solo figure best displayed on a dark or moody themed base to complement her sinister charm. The included circular display base provides a stable platform straight out of the box. Whether you are a seasoned painter or building your first large-scale collection, this figurine rewards careful brushwork and is a joy to assemble and customise.

Painting Guide: Zubly - Waifumon, Pin Up Figurine, 1/6 Scale Collectable

Follow this step-by-step guide to bring Zubly to life with bold colours and smooth blends suited to a 1/6 scale display piece.

1. Prime

  • Apply a light grey or white zenithal prime from above to establish natural shading across the figure.
  • Allow full cure before handling to avoid fingerprints on the resin surface.

2. Armour Base

  • Base coat the latex outfit panels with a deep teal or cobalt blue, such as Vallejo Magic Blue or Citadel Kantor Blue.
  • Add a gloss varnish layer over the outfit to replicate the shiny latex finish before shading.

3. Trim and Details

  • Paint the horns, bat wings, and hair in rich purple tones, building from a dark violet base up to pale lilac highlights at the tips.
  • Use a fine detail brush to pick out the corset lacing in a brighter pink or magenta accent colour.

4. Weapons

  • Paint the potion vial glass in amber tones with a bright orange glaze to simulate liquid depth.
  • Pick out the cork stopper in warm brown and add a thin gloss coat over the vial body for a glass effect.

5. Weathering

  • Apply subtle shading washes of purple-black into the recesses of the harness straps and boot creases for depth.
  • Edge highlight the boot toe caps and strap buckles with a light silver or gunmetal to add realism.

6. Bases

  • Texture the circular display base with dark stone effect paint or fine black grit, then dry brush with dark grey for definition.
  • Add a gloss spot varnish to the eyes and potion vial, and a matte varnish over skin and hair to finish.

This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
