The War Sisters Head Bits Bloody Rose 2 Helmet Set brings six finely detailed resin War Sisters Head sculpts to your collection, each cast in high-quality grey resin with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned, arriving ready to assemble and paint straight out of the box.

The set divides across two distinct styles. Three of the six heads are smooth, enclosed bell-shaped helms with a compact neck fitting, carrying the austere, devoted silhouette of a veteran holy warrior. The remaining three share the same bell-helm form but are crowned with a wreath of sharp thorns and tangled briars, adding a striking martyrdom motif that suits sergeants, champions, or any fighter you want to stand apart on the table. The variety within a single set of six means your squad reads as a cohesive unit while still carrying individual character across every model.

Sculpted by DakkaDakka, these heads are sized to integrate with standard 32mm heroic-scale warrior bodies and share the same armour language found across the War Sisters range, so they drop naturally into your existing force without any visual inconsistency.

Supplied unpainted. Six heads per set.

Painting Guide: War Sisters Head Bits Bloody Rose 2 Helmet Set x6

The palette below leans into a dark, devotional feel with aged metal and deep accent colours to suit the thorn-crown motif.

1. Prime

  • Apply a thin, even coat of grey or black spray primer across all six heads before beginning any basecoats.

2. Armour Base

  • Basecoat the helm surfaces with a deep charcoal grey or a cold off-white depending on whether you want a battle-worn iron look or a purer ceremonial finish.
  • Thin your paint slightly and build the basecoat in two passes to preserve the finer edge detail on the bell curve and neck ring.

3. Trim and Details

  • Pick out the neck fitting and any recessed lines with a bright silver or aged brass to create contrast against the darker helm body.
  • For the thorn wreaths, basecoat with a dark brown, then drybrush with a lighter bone tone to bring out the texture of each briar and spike.

4. Weapons

  • These are head-only components, so no weapons are present. Use this step to add any small freehand detail to the helm face, such as a faint sigil or devotional marking in a deep red or gold.
  • A fine liner brush and thinned paint works best for any freehand work on the smooth front face of the plain helms.

5. Weathering

  • Apply a dark brown or black wash into all recesses, particularly around the thorn wreath bases and the neck ring joints, to add depth and a battle-worn quality.
  • Edge highlight the helm rim and the highest points of the thorn crowns with a lighter grey or silver to complete the worn metal effect.

6. Bases

  • These bits are intended for attachment to existing models. Ensure the neck ball joint is painted before assembly, as it can be difficult to reach once the head is seated on the body.

This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
