Verilia Nighthorn is a commanding fantasy warrior figurine standing at an impressive 80mm scale, cast in high-quality resin and delivered as a physical miniature ready to assemble and paint. Every detail has been carefully preserved, from the sweeping ram horns and pointed ears to the intricate chainmail panels, layered pauldrons, and the coiling serpentine tail that trails behind her in mid-stride. This is a single-model release designed for collectors, tabletop RPG players, and serious hobbyists who demand character and presence on the gaming table.
The sculpt captures Verilia Nighthorn in a fierce battle pose, one knee raised as she lunges forward, gripping an ornate double-headed war axe covered in runic engravings. Her flowing hair and dynamic silhouette make her an excellent centrepiece model for any fantasy skirmish game, roleplay encounter, or display shelf. She stands atop a rocky rubble base that is included as part of the model, giving her a natural elevated platform that adds to her imposing stature. The figurine ships with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned, so you can move straight to assembly and painting without any prep hassle.
This model is suited for use in a wide range of tabletop fantasy roleplaying systems, including Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, and many other d20 or narrative-driven games. Her design draws on classic infernal and tiefling archetypes, making her a natural fit for a champion, warlord, or boss encounter piece. At 80mm she towers over standard 32mm heroic-scale miniatures, making Verilia Nighthorn a true statement model in any collection.
Squad size is a single model. No sculptor credit is listed at this time. This figurine is supplied unpainted and unassembled where applicable. Paints, glue, and tools are sold separately.
Painting Guide: Verilia Nighthorn, Figurine 80mm, Fantasy RPGThis guide is written for hobbyists who want to bring out the rich detail in this sculpt using standard miniature paints and washes.
1. Prime
- Apply a grey or bone-coloured primer by brush or spray to preserve the fine surface detail on the axe runes and chainmail panels.
- Allow to cure fully before painting, ideally 24 hours in a dry environment.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat the chainmail areas with a mid-tone silver or steel colour such as Leadbelcher or equivalent.
- Paint the pauldrons and hard armour plates in a deep crimson or dark bronze to contrast with the chain links beneath.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out the belt buckle, clasps, and gem-like decorations with a bright gold or antique brass tone.
- Use a fine detail brush to trace the runic engravings on the axe head with a pale bone or off-white colour.
4. Weapons
- Paint the axe shaft in a warm dark wood tone, then drybrush lightly with a lighter tan to pick out the grain texture.
- Coat the blade in a cool steel and apply a blue-black wash into the recesses to deepen the rune carvings.
5. Weathering
- Apply a dark brown wash over the chainmail and armour plates to shade and add worn realism.
- Drybrush raised edges of armour with a bright silver to simulate battle-worn metal catching the light.
6. Bases
- Paint the rocky rubble base in a neutral grey, wash with a dark brown shade, and drybrush with a light stone tone to complete the scene.
- Add a small amount of static grass or tufts at the edges for a naturalistic finish if desired.
