This Trench Crusade Style squad brings four grotesque, mutated humanoid figures to your tabletop, each one a testament to forbidden transformation and cosmic corruption. Sculpted by DakkaDakka, the Tet'o Obsessed Squad depicts wretched beings in various stages of parasitic consumption, their bodies bloated, stretched, and erupting with writhing tentacles that coil around their faces and torsos. These are creatures that have surrendered entirely to something ancient and hungering, and every detail of their sculpts reflects that horrible devotion.

The set contains four unique resin miniatures, each posed distinctly to convey a different stage of obsession. One figure leans forward with a tentacle wrapped across its jaw. Another stands rigid, limbs splayed, as if held in place by an invisible force. A third hunches under the weight of a swollen, corrupted head. The fourth advances with coiling appendages trailing behind it like a living shroud. Each model measures approximately 30 to 34mm from feet to eyes, placing them perfectly alongside standard 28 to 32mm scale infantry. The figures arrive as physical resin miniatures with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned, ready to assemble where applicable and prime for painting.

These miniatures suit grimdark wargaming narratives centred on body horror, cult insurgencies, or eldritch infection themes. They integrate naturally into any force that explores the darker corners of a war-ravaged world. As a Trench Crusade Style release, they carry that signature aesthetic of corrupted flesh meeting battlefield brutality, making them a compelling addition to any heretical warband or cult mob.

Painting Guide: Trench Crusade Style - Tet'o Obsessed Squad

The following guide helps you achieve a suitably horrific, grimdark finish that complements the corrupted organic aesthetic of this squad.

1. Prime

  • Apply a black or dark grey spray primer as a base coat, ensuring full coverage across all recesses and tentacle coils.

2. Armour Base

  • Basecoat exposed flesh with a mid-tone pale grey or sickly bone colour such as Rakarth Flesh or Ushabti Bone.
  • Apply a second layer of thinned paint to raised areas to begin building volume on the bloated skin.

3. Trim and Details

  • Pick out the tentacles and corrupted growths in a deep purple or muted teal to contrast the pale skin tones.
  • Add small pustules and nodules using a sickly yellow-green, applied with a fine detail brush.

4. Weapons

  • These figures carry no conventional weapons, so focus detail work on clawed hands using a dark brown base with a bone highlight on the tips.
  • Apply a gloss varnish selectively to tentacle surfaces and open wounds to suggest wet, living tissue.

5. Weathering

  • Wash the entire model with Agrax Earthshade or a similar dark brown shade to deepen recesses and unify the palette.
  • Drybrush highlights back onto raised skin folds using a lighter flesh tone to restore contrast after washing.

6. Bases

  • Texture the base with cracked earth paste or fine sand, then paint dark grey with a reddish-brown wash to suggest blighted, blood-soaked ground fitting the warzone setting.

This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
