This Trench Crusade Style physical resin miniature, the Tet'o Swarm Carrier, is a single character model that arrives supports-removed and ready to assemble and paint. Standing approximately 27mm from feet to eyes, this grotesque figure depicts a robed, tentacled entity clutching an ornate chaos-marked sceptre aloft, its lower body a writhing mass of coiling appendages that curl across the base. The sculpt captures the bleak horror of a corrupted priest or herald, cloaked in stitched and tattered robes that hang over the churning mass beneath.

The detail work across this Trench Crusade Style figure is exceptional. Every tentacle is individually rendered with sucker detail and organic curvature, while the robes show torn fabric edges and heavy stitching lines across the back panel. The sceptre topper bears a layered cross and circle symbol that reads crisply at tabletop scale. The model is cast in high-resolution grey resin and supplied on a standard round base.

This miniature fits naturally into grimdark warbands themed around corruption, mutation, and blasphemous devotion. It works well as a support caster, cult leader, or abomination unit depending on your chosen ruleset. The single-figure format makes it straightforward to integrate into any existing collection built around occult horror aesthetics.

Sculptor: DakkaDakka. Scale: 27mm foot to eye. Supplied as a physical resin model, supports removed and cleaned. Assembly and painting required.

Painting Guide: Trench Crusade Style - Tet'o Swarm Carrier

The following guide is designed to help you achieve a grimdark, desaturated finish that suits the bleak horror character of this Trench Crusade Style model.

1. Prime

  • Apply a black zenithal prime using grey from above to establish ambient light and shadow from the start.

2. Armour Base

  • Base the robes in a dark brown such as Rhinox Hide or Dryad Bark.
  • Drybrush lightly with Karak Stone to pick out the torn fabric edges and stitching.

3. Trim and Details

  • Paint the stitching lines with a thin line of Ushabti Bone.
  • Apply a wash of Agrax Earthshade across the robes to unify and deepen the shadows.

4. Weapons

  • Base the sceptre in Leadbelcher, then wash with Nuln Oil for a corroded metal look.
  • For an ethereal variant, base in Sotek Green and highlight up to Baharroth Blue, then glaze with Nihilakh Oxide.

5. Weathering

  • Stipple Typhus Corrosion onto the lower robes and base of the sceptre to suggest ritual decay and filth.
  • Use Ryza Rust sparingly on any metal elements for oxidation effects.

6. Bases

  • Apply texture paste in a dark mud tone, then drybrush with Baneblade Brown. Add small tufts or static grass in muted, dead tones to complete the blighted ground effect.
