Threll arrives as a 75mm physical resin miniature sculpted from Print Fantasy's range, depicting a hulking orc barbarian caught in a moment of coiled menace, every muscle tensed and jaw set with cold fury. One hand hangs low, gripping a broad-headed axe wrapped in worn leather binding, while the other curls into a massive fist at his side, knuckles ready. A fur-trimmed pauldron sits heavy across one shoulder, clasped at the chest with a broad medallion, and layered wraps of cloth and hide cover his forearms and legs, lending him the look of a warrior who has survived far too many battles to count.

The following steps are intended as a starting point for hobbyists of any experience level. Adapt colours and techniques freely to suit your preferred palette or basing theme.

1. Prime

• Apply a grey or black zenithal prime to establish natural shadow and light across the heavily muscled torso and fur details.

2. Armour Base

• Base the hide wraps and cloth sections in a warm mid-brown such as Rhinox Hide or Mournfang Brown.
• Layer up with increasingly lighter browns and add a focal highlight of Ushabti Bone or Rakarth Flesh to the raised wrap edges.

3. Trim and Details

• Pick out the chest medallion and belt buckle in Leadbelcher, then wash with Agrax Earthshade for an aged, tarnished finish.
• Highlight the fur trim with a dry brush of Administratum Grey or Screaming Skull, building from the base outward.

4. Weapons

• Base the axe head in Leadbelcher and wash with Nuln Oil, then edge highlight with Stormhost Silver along the blade bevel.
• Paint the leather binding around the handle in Dark Reaper or Dryad Bark and pick out wear marks with a pale tan.

5. Weathering

• Apply a thin wash of Agrax Earthshade across the wraps, knuckles, and lower legs to suggest grime and long campaign use.
• Add fine nicks and scratches to the axe blade using a fine brush and thinned Stormhost Silver.

6. Bases

• Texture paste in earthy grey tones suits the ruined stone aesthetic suggested by the sculpted base, finished with a dark wash and a dry brush of pale stone colour.
