Forgotten Champions brings you Thalindra, a deadly elf archer sculpted by Haito with razor-sharp detail and fierce battlefield presence. This 32mm resin miniature captures a warrior mid-draw, her longbow at full tension, one knee planted on a scatter of ancient bones as she locks onto her mark with cold, predatory focus.
Thalindra is a lone hunter operating beyond the boundaries of dying civilisations. Her tattered wrappings, knee-high boots, and quiver loaded with war-arrows speak of a fighter who has survived countless engagements across blighted wastelands. The base is packed with skull fragments and debris, telling the story of a world already half-consumed by ruin.
Sculpted by Haito, this single-model kit is cast in high-resolution grey resin and supplied unpainted on a 40mm scenic base. Two poses are available, giving you a front-facing and rear-angle option to choose from when building your warband. Every strand of hair, every knot of rope binding, and every feather on the arrow shaft has been rendered with outstanding clarity.
Whether you field her as a skirmish hero or a centrepiece to a larger Forgotten Champions warband, Thalindra rewards careful brushwork and will stand out on any gaming table. Squad size: 1 model.
Painting Guide: Thalindra - Elf ArcherThis guide is designed to bring out the weathered, hardened quality of a Forgotten Champions survivor operating in a world stripped of mercy or light.
1. Prime
- Apply a zenithal prime using black below and pale grey above to establish deep shadows across the folds of cloth and beneath the bow arm
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat leather armour sections in a mid-brown such as Rhinox Hide or Wyldwood
- Layer up with Mournfang Brown and edge highlight using Balor Brown for worn leather definition
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out rope bindings in a desaturated cream to contrast against the dark leather
- Paint cloth wrappings in a dusty pale tan, washing down with Agrax Earthshade to push grime into the creases
4. Weapons
- Basecoat the longbow in Gorthor Brown, dry-brushing Ushabti Bone along the grain to simulate aged wood
- Paint the arrowhead in Leadbelcher, apply a rust wash of Typhus Corrosion at the tip for a battlefield-worn finish
5. Weathering
- Stipple Rhinox Hide along the hem of the cloth and boot soles to suggest dried mud and prolonged fieldwork
- Add fine scratches to the leather pauldron using a torn sponge and Administratum Grey for a battle-scarred look
6. Bases
- Drybrush the bone scatter base in Ushabti Bone over a Dryad Bark undercoat, finish with a light dust of Praxeti White on raised surfaces to tie the model to the bleak wastes of the Forgotten Champions setting
