1. Prime

• Apply a black or dark grey zenithal prime to establish deep shadow in the recesses of the cloak, wrappings, and skull charm before any colour is added.

2. Armour Base

• Base coat the leather wrappings and straps in a dark brown such as Rhinox Hide, then layer up with Mournfang Brown for mid tones.
• Paint the cloak in a deep slate blue or charcoal grey, keeping the undershadows very dark to sell the volume of the fabric folds.

3. Trim and Details

• Pick out the skull charm and horn crown details in Ushabti Bone, shaded with Agrax Earthshade for a aged, worn appearance.
