The Superheavy Tank Gorgodon G-6 is a colossal war machine designed to dominate the battlefield with overwhelming firepower and imposing bulk. Measuring 319mm long, 194mm wide and 115mm tall, this behemoth of armoured warfare is one of the largest resin-ready 3D printable vehicles available for grimdark sci-fi wargaming. Sculpted by DakkaDakka, this model arrives as a detailed 47-part kit, giving hobbyists full control over assembly and customisation.
Bristling with weapons options, the Gorgodon G-6 can be configured with a variety of turret-mounted cannons, hull-mounted guns, multi-barrel rocket pods and sponson weapons. A single infantry crew figure is included to add scale and narrative to the finished model. The modular design allows players to swap configurations and tailor the loadout to suit their tabletop needs.
Every surface of this superheavy tank is packed with grimdark detail, from riveted armour plating and ventilation grilles to fuel canisters, access ladders and reinforced track guards. The massive dual-track hull conveys unstoppable momentum, while the layered superstructure hints at a vehicle built to wage endless industrial-scale war.
This product is sold as a digital STL file set, optimised for FDM and resin 3D printing. Whether you are building a centrepiece for your collection or fielding a line-breaking siege engine on the tabletop, the Gorgodon G-6 delivers scale, detail and presence in equal measure.
Painting Guide: Superheavy Tank Gorgodon G-6 (Images)
This superheavy tank rewards patient painters. With so much surface area and detail, a structured approach will help you achieve a finished model that looks imposing and battle-worn.
1. Prime
- Apply a grey or black spray primer evenly across all 47 parts before assembly or after, depending on your preferred workflow.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat the hull in a deep military green, cold grey or dusty tan using a large flat brush or airbrush.
- Apply a second thin coat to ensure full coverage across recessed panel areas.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out rivets, vents and mechanical components in a dark metallic such as gunmetal or iron.
- Paint access hatches, ladders and fuel canisters in contrasting colours to break up the armour mass.
4. Weapons
- Basecoat all gun barrels and rocket pods in a dark steel tone and drybrush with bright silver to emphasise wear.
- Add heat discolouration near muzzles using thin glazes of orange and purple.
5. Weathering
- Apply a full wash of dark brown or black across the entire superheavy tank to settle into recesses and define panel lines.
- Sponge chipping fluid or stipple paint chips along hull edges, track guards and sponson mounts for a hard-used appearance.
- Dust the lower hull and tracks with pigment powders in earth or rust tones.
6. Bases
- Mount the completed model on a large display base with cracked earth, rubble or battle debris to complement its imposing scale.
