Sunshine, the radiant Sun Priest, arrives as a stunning physical resin miniature standing approximately 32mm scale, sculpted with extraordinary detail and presence. This single-model release depicts a blindfolded priestess of the sun, her arms outstretched in divine invocation, robes billowing with ceremonial weight and flowing sleeves that catch every ray of painted light. Sunshine commands the table with a solar crown of spiked rays rising from her hood, marking her as a figure of immense spiritual authority within her order.

The miniature is supplied as a physical resin cast, with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned and prepped for immediate assembly and painting. The sculpt features intricate layered robes with diamond-quilted skirt panels, dangling ritual charms and orb pendants, fine laurel detailing at the collar, and sandalled feet bound with cord wrapping. Front and rear views are both rendered with the same level of sculptural care, making Sunshine an excellent centrepiece model or hero character for any fantastical warband or display collection.

Designed for adult hobbyists who demand quality in every detail, this physical miniature suits collectors, painters, and competitive players alike. This piece comes from Haito's catalogue, bearing all the hallmarks of careful and considered sculptural craft. The model is a single-character release, ideal as a squad leader, prophet, or solo display piece. Whether placed at the head of a devoted retinue or mounted on a scenic base as a standalone display, Sunshine brings mythic gravitas to any collection.

Squad size is one model. Scale is approximately 32mm. Material is high-detail grey resin.

Painting Guide: Sunshine - Sun Priest

The following guide is designed to help hobbyists achieve a striking result that honours the solar theme and ceremonial grandeur of this sculpt. Taking your time through each stage will produce a miniature worthy of display.

1. Prime

  • Apply a thin, even coat of grey or white spray primer to preserve surface detail across the robes, crown, and fine dangling ornaments.
  • Ensure all crevices in the quilted skirt and sleeve folds are fully coated before proceeding.

2. Armour Base

  • Base coat the robes and hood in a warm off-white such as Wraithbone or Pallid Wych Flesh for a ceremonial look.
  • Apply a mid-tone ivory to the flowing sleeves to create contrast against the heavier garment layers beneath.

3. Trim and Details

  • Pick out the solar crown and spiked rays in a rich gold base coat such as Retributor Armour, then layer with Liberator Gold for highlights.
  • Shade the gold elements with Agrax Earthshade or Reikland Fleshshade to add warmth and depth to the recesses.

4. Weapons

  • The ritual birds held at each outstretched hand can be painted in muted earthy browns with highlighted feather tips in cream or pale gold.
  • Orb pendants and ring charms work well in polished silver or aged brass to contrast against the robes.

5. Weathering

  • Apply a very thin wash of Seraphim Sepia across the lower robes and hem to suggest wear and travel.
  • Dry-brush the laurel collar and solar crown lightly with a bright gold highlight to make them pop under display lighting.

6. Bases

  • The sculpted rubble base suits a sun-bleached stone finish. Drybrush layers from dark grey through to bone white for a cracked desert ruin effect, then add a few tufts of dry grass for contrast.

This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
