Selvara is a commanding Human Mage miniature, cast in high-quality resin and arriving ready to assemble and paint. She strides forward with her flowing robes caught in a fierce wind, one hand outstretched to channel arcane energy and the other gripping a large ornate staff crowned with a pentacle sunburst motif. Every detail on this 32mm scale figure speaks of a practitioner who walks the line between scholarly power and battlefield authority.

The sculpt presents intricate surface detail across every element of her outfit, from the engraved corset and layered leather belt to the billowing outer cloak and knee-high boot visible beneath her parted skirts. The hair flows dramatically behind her, reinforcing a sense of dynamic motion frozen at the peak of spellcasting. Two orientations of the miniature are included, giving painters both a front-facing and rear-facing version to display or use in play.

The following guide is designed to help you bring this detailed figure to life using standard hobby acrylics. Take your time across each stage for the best result.

1. Prime

• Apply a thin, even coat of grey or bone-coloured primer to preserve the fine surface detail on the robes and staff ornament.
• Allow to cure fully before moving to basecoats.

2. Armour Base

• Basecoat the corset and leather belt in a warm dark brown such as Rhinox Hide or similar.
• Apply a mid-tone tan over raised surfaces, leaving recesses dark to suggest depth in the engraved pattern.

3. Trim and Details

• Paint the robe and cloak in a pale bone or off-white tone, washing with a diluted sepia or umber shade to define the fabric folds.
• Highlight the edges of the cloak with pure white to create contrast against the shaded recesses.

4. Weapons

• Paint the staff shaft in a medium wood tone and apply a fine wood-grain drybrush of a lighter cream colour.
• Pick out the pentacle sunburst head in a rich gold, then apply a brown wash and re-highlight the raised star points with bright gold or a pale silver mix.

5. Weathering

• Add subtle dirt and grime to the hem of the robes and the base of the boots using diluted dark brown stippled on with a sponge or dry brush.
• Apply a pale edge highlight along stress points in the cloak to suggest wear on a well-travelled mage.

6. Bases

• Drybrush the rocky rubble base in successive layers of dark grey, medium grey, and a final light stone highlight to create a convincing shattered terrain effect.
• Add tufts, moss, or arcane rune transfers to tie the base into your preferred setting or game table aesthetic.
