This guide will help you bring your Glyptodon to life with a battle-hardened, weathered finish suited to its grimdark sci-fi aesthetic.

1. Prime

• Apply a grey or black spray primer evenly across all surfaces, paying attention to the recessed areas of the scoop and track units.

2. Armour Base

• Basecoat the hull with a dark military green, olive drab, or urban grey depending on your force's colour scheme.
• Apply a second thin coat for full, even coverage before moving to shading.

3. Trim and Details

• Pick out raised rivets, vents, and sensor panels in a dark gunmetal or bronze to break up the armour colour.
• Paint stowage boxes and equipment blocks in contrasting muted tones such as tan or rust brown.

4. Weapons

• Basecoat the cannon barrel and stubber weapons in dark steel, then highlight the muzzle tips with a brighter silver to suggest heat scoring.
• Add a thin glaze of orange-brown to weapon barrels to suggest heat and repeated firing.

5. Weathering

• Apply a dark brown or black wash across the entire model, allowing it to settle into panel lines and recesses for depth.
