The Satellitum Ranged Squad (x10) brings ten highly detailed sci-fi infantry miniatures to your wargaming table, each sculpted with a distinctive deep-sea inspired aesthetic fused with grimdark military design. These soldiers wear bulky pressurised armour fitted with circular port-hole visors, protruding sensor spikes, and a signature ring-loop antenna atop each helmet, giving them an unmistakable silhouette on the battlefield. Long flowing coats drape over layered armour plating, adding a sense of grim authority to each trooper.

This physical set arrives as ten pre-printed resin miniatures with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned, ready to assemble and paint straight out of the box. The squad includes a variety of poses covering standard riflemen, a prone sniper with bipod-mounted long rifle, close-assault variants with fixed bayonets, and a command figure with raised arm. Each model measures 31mm from feet to eyes, making them compatible with most 28-32mm scale wargaming systems. The set contains 11 modular parts across the 10 models, allowing for minor pose customisation during assembly.

Whether you are building a veteran infantry platoon, a specialist kill-team, or a grimdark narrative warband, the Satellitum Ranged Squad (x10) delivers strong table presence and exceptional sculpt quality at squad level. The back-mounted equipment packs, layered knee armour, and weapon variety ensure that no two models look identical in a ranked formation. Resin detail is crisp throughout, capturing fine textures on coat hems, armour rivets, and weapon scopes without any loss of sharpness.

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and may require light assembly using superglue. We recommend handling small parts with care and washing in warm soapy water before priming.

Painting Guide: Satellitum Ranged Squad (x10) - Sci-Fi Wargaming Miniatures

The following guide is intended to help you bring your Satellitum Ranged Squad (x10) to life with a cohesive, battle-worn colour scheme suited to grimdark sci-fi aesthetics.

1. Prime

  • Apply a light grey or black spray primer to the fully assembled or partially assembled models, holding the can 25-30cm away for even coverage.
  • Allow to cure fully before moving to base coats, ideally leaving overnight in a dry environment.

2. Armour Base

  • Basecoat the armour panels in a deep slate grey or dark olive drab for a military utility look.
  • Alternatively, use a muted bone or off-white for a void-farer aesthetic that contrasts well with dark weapon casings.

3. Trim and Details

  • Pick out the coat and robes in a warm sepia or aged cream, applied thinly with a size 1 brush to avoid pooling in folds.
  • Highlight the coat edges by dry-brushing a lighter tone of the same colour to bring out the flowing fabric detail.

4. Weapons

  • Paint rifle bodies in gunmetal or dark iron, then apply a wash of dark brown or black to shade recessed areas around the barrel and stock.
  • Edge highlight the sniper rifle bipod and barrel in bright silver to draw the eye to the squad's specialist equipment.

5. Weathering

  • Stipple thinned brown and orange paint onto lower armour panels and boot armour to suggest mud and wear from long campaigns.
  • Scratch highlights can be added to armour edges using a small piece of blister foam lightly loaded with silver paint.

6. Bases

  • Texture the 32mm oval bases with fine sand or a commercially available texture paste, painted in ash grey or dried earth tones to complement the squad's colour palette.
  • Add tufts of dead grass or small resin debris for a desolate warzone setting that reinforces the grimdark feel of the squad.
