His right hand drives a broad-bladed axe low and forward in a sweeping combat arc, while his left arm bears a round boss shield engraved with a sunburst motif. The following guide is designed to help hobbyists bring Rorik Ironveil to life with a battle-worn, Norse-inspired colour palette that suits his savage character and richly detailed sculpt.

1. Prime

• Apply a light grey or bone-white spray primer to capture all fine surface detail across the helm, wrappings, and shield engravings.
• A zenithal highlight with white from directly above will help establish natural light and shadow before any paint is applied.

2. Armour Base

• Base coat the horned helm and shield boss in a warm ochre or Balor Brown to reflect aged, polished bronze.
• Apply a mid-tone tan such as Zandri Dust across all cloth wrappings and leather bindings for a sun-bleached warrior look.

3. Trim and Details

• Pick out the runic engravings on the helm with a fine liner brush using deep brown or Agrax Earthshade thinned to a wash consistency.
• Drybrush raised edges of the shield with a pale gold to suggest worn metalwork catching the light.

4. Weapons

• Base the axe blade in a dark iron tone such as Leadbelcher, then wash with Nuln Oil to deepen the recesses.

5. Weathering
