This Pin-up fantasy resin miniature brings the enchanting Elara to life as a seated bar girl, raising a wooden tankard in a moment of celebration. Sculpted with exceptional detail, this physical resin figure captures flowing long hair adorned with a braided crown, pointed elven ears, ornate gauntlets, and a richly layered outfit tied at the waist. She sits upon a classic tavern stool, barefoot, on a textured wooden plank base that adds real depth to any display shelf or diorama.
Elara is a single-figure release, supplied as a pre-printed physical resin miniature. Supports have already been removed and the piece has been cleaned and lightly sanded where needed. She arrives ready to assemble any loose parts and move straight into painting. No printing equipment required. The miniature stands approximately 75mm tall from base to the top of her head, making her a striking centrepiece for any fantasy collection.
Inspired by elven tavern culture and the warm glow of a flickering inn, Elara suits any dark fantasy or high fantasy setting. She pairs beautifully with adventuring parties, tavern scenes, or collector display cases. Whether you are building a narrative diorama or simply want a gorgeous character piece on your shelf, Elara delivers on every level. The sculpt rewards careful brush work with its deep recesses, flowing fabric folds, and expressive pose.
This Pin model is ideal for intermediate to advanced painters looking for a rewarding project with plenty of surface variety. From the intricate braid detail on her headpiece to the barrel stave texture of the tankard, every area invites creative exploration. Elara is sculpted by Alternative Games, and this release is part of their growing range of characterful fantasy figures.
Painting Guide: Pin-Up Fantasy Bar Girl Miniature – ElaraThis guide walks you through a recommended approach to painting Elara, helping you get the best results from each area of this detailed Pin-up sculpt.
1. Prime
- Apply a thin, even coat of grey or white spray primer to capture all surface detail across the figure and base.
- Allow to cure fully before proceeding, checking for any missed recesses.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat the gauntlets and bracers with a deep steel blue or aged bronze tone.
- Apply a second thin layer to build opacity before shading.
3. Trim and Details
- Paint the braided headpiece with a warm gold, then wash with a brown shade to pick out the links.
- Use a pale cream or ivory for the off-shoulder top, layering up to near-white on raised edges.
4. Weapons
- Paint the wooden tankard with a mid-brown base, then drybrush with a lighter tan to highlight the barrel planks.
- Add a dark wash into the recesses between staves to separate the wood grain.
5. Weathering
- Apply a subtle glaze of dark umber to the lower hem of the skirt to suggest tavern grime.
- Use a fine brush and off-white to add small scratches or wear marks to the gauntlets and belt buckle.
6. Bases
- Drybrush the wooden plank base with warm sandy tones over a brown basecoat, then pick out cracks and knots with a darker brown liner.
