Pikamour is a bold and dynamic pin-up collectible figurine from the Waifumon range, sculpted at 1/6 scale and standing approximately 300mm tall. This physical resin miniature arrives with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned, ready for assembly and painting. Every curve and detail has been captured with precision, from the flowing dark hair to the iconic yellow Pikachu-inspired hoodie, the lightning bolt tail detail at the back, and the confident, playful stance that makes this piece a true centrepiece for any display shelf.

The figure is presented as a single-character squad unit. Her outfit combines a partially unzipped yellow hoodie with a red bikini top and matching bottoms, a yellow thigh band, and Pikachu ear headwear. The sculpt celebrates anime fan culture with a fearless, adult aesthetic. This is a collector-grade piece built for hobbyists who appreciate high-detail figurine work and expressive character design.

Whether displayed on a collector's shelf or painted to competition standard, Pikamour rewards patience and skill. The 1/6 scale gives painters generous surface area to work with, making blending, shading, and freehand detail far more accessible than smaller miniature scales. The resin captures fine detail beautifully and holds primer and paint with excellent adhesion when properly prepared.

Painting Guide: Pikamour - Waifumon, Pin Up Figurine, 1/6 Scale Collectable

This guide will help you bring out the best in your Pikamour figurine using a combination of layering, wet blending, and careful washes to achieve a vibrant, eye-catching result.

1. Prime

  • Clean the resin with isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry fully before priming.
  • Apply a thin, even coat of grey or white spray primer. White primer is recommended to keep the yellow tones bright and vivid.

2. Skin Base Tones

  • Base coat all exposed skin areas with a warm flesh tone such as Vallejo Basic Skintone or Citadel Cadian Fleshtone.
  • Apply a thin wash of Reikland Fleshshade or equivalent to define muscle tone and depth across the legs, torso, and arms.

3. Hoodie and Yellow Details

  • Base the hoodie with Yriel Yellow or a similar warm mid-yellow, applied in two thin coats for full opacity.
  • Shade the recesses of the hoodie with a diluted Seraphim Sepia wash to add warmth and depth without dulling the yellow.
  • Highlight raised areas with Flash Gitz Yellow or pure white mixed into yellow for the brightest edges.

4. Bikini and Accessories

  • Paint the red bikini top and bottoms using Mephiston Red as a base, shaded with Nuln Oil or Carroburg Crimson in the deepest folds.
  • Edge highlight with Wild Rider Red and a final touch of Fire Dragon Bright on the sharpest points.
  • Paint the yellow thigh band and lightning bolt detail to match the hoodie palette for visual consistency.

5. Hair

  • Base coat the hair with Rhinox Hide or similar deep brown, then layer up with Mournfang Brown along flowing strands.
  • Apply a final edge highlight of Skrag Brown or Doombull Brown along the uppermost strands to suggest light catching the hair in motion.

6. Base and Finishing

  • The circular display base can be painted in a neutral stone or marble effect to complement the vibrant figure above.
  • Apply a satin varnish to skin areas and a gloss coat to the bikini for a contrast of finishes. Use matte varnish on the hoodie to keep the fabric feel distinct.

This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
