Pidgette joins the Waifumon roster as a bold and dynamic pin-up collectible, sculpted in a stylised anime aesthetic that blends wild energy with striking visual detail. Standing at approximately 300mm tall in 1/6 scale, this physical resin figurine arrives with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned, ready for assembly and painting. She is posed seated on a gnarled tree stump, one leg raised and a hand raised to her lips in a confident, knowing gesture.

The sculpt captures flowing twin tails of windswept hair secured with green ties, pointed ears suggesting a creature-inspired heritage, and layered costume details including a cropped top, short layered skirt with feather-like panels, and bare feet. Every surface rewards careful painting, from the fine hair strands to the subtle muscle definition across the arms and legs. The tree stump base adds natural texture and grounds the composition with organic depth.

This figurine is part of the Waifumon collection, a series of creature-inspired female characters reimagined as collector-grade pin-up statues. Pidgette represents the bird-type archetype, capturing speed, freedom, and fierce attitude in a single compelling pose. The piece suits display cabinets, themed dioramas, or as a centrepiece in any figurine collection.

Each unit is cast in high-detail resin, cleaned and inspected before dispatch. Multi-part assemblies require standard modelling adhesive. Light sanding may be needed at join points for a flush fit before priming.

Painting Guide: Pidgette - Waifumon, Pin Up Figurine, 1/6 Scale Collectable

This guide is designed to help hobbyists bring Pidgette to life with confident, layered colour work that suits both beginner and experienced painters.

1. Prime

  • Apply a thin, even coat of grey or white spray primer across all surfaces, paying attention to the hair undercuts and the tree stump base texture.
  • Allow to cure fully before painting. A zenithal prime with white from above adds natural pre-shading depth.

2. Skin and Body

  • Base coat exposed skin in a warm mid-tone such as Cadian Fleshtone or equivalent, then shade with a diluted brown wash in the recesses.
  • Layer highlights up toward the knees, forearms, and collarbone using a mix of the base tone and a pale cream. Edge highlight the raised muscle lines finely.

3. Hair and Ties

  • Base the hair in a warm tan or golden brown, shade the roots and underside with a deeper chestnut, then dry-brush lighter blonde over the upper strands for a sun-bleached effect.
  • Paint the hair ties in a flat teal or forest green, then apply a gloss varnish to the ties to separate them visually from the matte hair.

4. Costume Details

  • Paint the cropped top in off-white or aged linen, shading the folds with a thin grey-brown wash and highlighting raised edges with pure white.
  • Use a warm dark brown for the layered skirt panels. Dry-brush the feather-like edges with a lighter tan to suggest separation and dimension. Add a thin purple or lavender line along the waistband to match the sculpted detail.

5. Weathering

  • Apply a thin oil wash across the tree stump base using raw umber, wiping back from the raised bark ridges to leave shadow in the grooves.
  • Add subtle bruising or natural skin variation on the legs and arms using very thin washes of pale purple or blue, concentrated near joints and ankles.

6. Bases

  • Drybrush the tree stump with progressively lighter greys over the brown basecoat to suggest bleached dead wood. Finish with a satin varnish on the stump and a matte varnish over the figure.

This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
