1. Prime

• Apply a thin, even coat of grey or black spray primer and allow to cure fully before painting.

2. Armour Base

• Basecoat armour plates in a mid-grey or dark iron tone such as Leadbelcher or Gunmetal Grey.
• Block in leather straps and belt in a warm mid-brown such as Rhinox Hide or Flat Brown.

3. Trim and Details

• Pick out the Celtic knotwork on the shield in a pale bone or aged brass to create contrast against the shield field.
• Paint the horned helm in the same iron tone as the armour, then highlight the raised edges with a lighter silver.

4. Weapons
