The Odin Daughter 6 is a fierce Norse warrior miniature, arriving as a fully printed and cleaned physical resin figure ready for assembly and painting. She stands in a bold, battle-ready pose, a broad double-headed axe gripped at her side and a round Celtic-knotwork shield raised at her shoulder. Her wild cascade of long, flowing hair tumbles freely behind her, and layered fur-trimmed boots, a studded belt, and scattered skull adornments complete her fearsome silhouette. A winged helm crowns her head, marking her as one of Odin's chosen daughters of war.

Sculpted by Mini Realms, this piece carries the same high level of surface detail and dynamic energy found throughout the Odin Daughter range. Every strand of hair, feather on the helm, and rune carved into the decorative round base has been rendered with precision, giving painters a rich and rewarding canvas to work from.

The figure comes with supports already removed. It is supplied unpainted and may require minor assembly before painting. Acrylic primer and paint are recommended.

This miniature is a striking centrepiece for any Norse-themed warband, display shelf, or tabletop collection.

Painting Guide: Odin Daughter 6

The palette below is a suggested approach aimed at hobbyists of all experience levels. Adjust colours to suit your preferred scheme or army basing theme.

1. Prime

  • Apply a light grey or off-white zenithal prime to pre-shade the recesses and establish natural shadow depth across the hair, fur, and armour surfaces.

2. Armour Base

  • Basecoat the helm and pauldrons with a mid-tone steel grey, then apply a dark wash into all recesses to define the form.
  • Drybrush lightly with a bright silver to pick up raised edges and bring out the sculpted detail.

3. Trim and Details

  • Paint leather straps and belt in a warm brown, washing with a sepia tone for depth.
  • Pick out skull ornaments with bone white, shaded with a diluted brown wash and highlighted back up with cream.

4. Weapons

  • Basecoat the axe head in dark iron, wash with black, then edge highlight with bright silver to suggest a honed blade.
  • Paint the wooden haft in a mid-brown, apply a dark wash, and drybrush with a lighter tan to bring out the wood grain texture.

5. Weathering

  • Stipple small chips and scratches along the shield rim and axe edge using a dark brown followed by a fine silver dot to simulate battle-worn metal.
  • Add subtle rust streaking below rivets with a thin orange-brown wash drawn downward with a fine brush.

6. Bases

  • Drybrush the runic base with a stone grey over a dark brown undercoat, then pick out individual rune carvings with a warm gold or amber to suggest ancient inscription.

This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
