The Odin Daughter 4 is a formidable Norse warrior miniature, arriving as a fully printed and cleaned physical resin figure ready for assembly and painting. She stands in a commanding pose, a broad double-headed axe gripped at her side and a round Celtic-knotwork shield raised at her shoulder. Her wild cascade of long hair flows freely behind her, and layered fur-trimmed boots, a studded belt, and close-fitted armour combine to give her the look of a seasoned battlefield champion.

Sculpted by Mini Realms, this figure captures the raw power and fierce spirit of a Norse barbarian warrior in exceptional detail, from the engraved knotwork on her shield face to the texture of her fur-lined greaves and the dynamic sweep of her hair.

The miniature stands at approximately 32mm scale and arrives with supports already removed, cleaned, and ready to paint straight away. The decorative base features runic engravings around its rim, providing a rich scenic platform that complements the figure's warrior theme.

Whether she joins a warband on the tabletop or takes pride of place in a display cabinet, this Odin Daughter figure is a striking addition to any Norse-themed collection.

Painting Guide: Odin Daughter 4

This guide offers a practical approach to bringing your figure to life with a classic Norse warrior palette, working from dark basecoats up through highlights and finishing with weathering effects.

1. Prime

  • Apply a grey or black spray primer in thin, even coats to seal the resin surface and provide a strong foundation for all subsequent layers.

2. Armour Base

  • Base the leather armour panels and belt in a dark brown such as Rhinox Hide or Mournfang Brown.
  • Apply a warm mid-brown like Mournfang Brown or Doombull Brown over the fur trim areas, leaving the recesses darker.

3. Trim and Details

  • Paint the shield face with a deep red or burgundy basecoat, then layer up to a brighter red toward the raised knotwork. Pick out the knotwork itself in a warm gold using Retributor Armour or similar.
  • Highlight the leather straps and boot laces with a lighter tan tone such as Zandri Dust or Ushabti Bone along raised edges.

4. Weapons

  • Basecoat the axe head in Leadbelcher or a similar dark metallic, then drybrush with a lighter silver such as Stormhost Silver to bring out the blade edges.
  • Paint the axe haft in a warm wood tone, starting with Mournfang Brown and highlighting toward Ushabti Bone along the grain lines.

5. Weathering

  • Apply a brown or black wash such as Agrax Earthshade or Nuln Oil across the armour, metals, and furs to deepen the recesses and unify the tones.
  • Add light chips or scratches to the axe head and shield rim using a small brush and a mix of dark grey and silver, suggesting hard use in battle.

6. Bases

  • Drybrush the runic base rim in a warm orange or yellow gold to make the engravings stand out, then paint the ground surface in earthy browns and greys, finishing with a light drybrush of pale bone to lift the texture. Tufts of static grass or small stones can be added for a natural battlefield feel.

This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
